[Just a fair warning, this chapter contains depressing themes, and talk about ones urge to end it all. If you're sensitive to this, I would recommend leaving. This is mostly a vent chapter, I just incorporate feelings into writing, sorry if I inconvinced you]
Title: Strong Arms
Setting: Going-Mary
Time: Early Morning.Eyes blinked as the salty air swept past. short/longer hair flowing in the wind as they gripped the edge of the Crow's nest.
The eyes closed, and opened to see the blue sky.
These eyes belonged to a woman/man/enby/etc called Y/n. Their eyes have seen many things.
Many of these thing were terrible, so they weren't the best in the mind. They struggled with everything, such as trusting people you should be able to trust, loving someone, and just being a friend.
They were always distant, never getting close to anyone, they're always up in the Crow's nest, alone.
The crew wanted to change that, but no one really had the courage to ask the resigned Shichibukai what she exactly went through.
Not like anyone could understand besides Sanji.
Who knew that would change this very day.
-----------------------
-Y/N'S POV-You sighed as you sat up, Sanji calling for you to come join them for breakfast.
You peeked over the edge, and huffed. The only one you REALLY trusted was Chopper, because he attended to your wounds when they'd met you.
As if on cue, Chopper quickly ran over, jumping up and down, "come on N/n, you need to eat your food! Your wounds aren't even fully healed yet!" He smiled, "Doctor's orders!" It was the only way to get you to come down, sadly.
You stood on the top of the crows next, and looked at your hands, sighing.
Gripping the edge of the crows nest, you attached a vine to it, then came down gracefully, landing on your feet.
Sanji fawned over you, but it clearly made you uncomfortable.
Sanji reached his hand out, "let me hold your hand, mademoiselle~." He flirted. You responded by huffing, but eventually reaching to touch it, being on edge.
He smiled, and walked with you to the kitchen.
That smile that he gave you....it made you feel at peace, like that smile could help you sleep at night. Seeing Sanji genuinely smile sweetly was a blessing.
To you, at least.
You sat at the table, next to chopper, and silently ate your food.
Everyone marvled when your face heated up, and flowers began to sprout all over your body.
[I love my Plant-Plant Fruit idea, okay?]
Sanji plucked a rose, and smiled, "didn't know you could do that, it's beautiful."
You rubbed the back of your head, and muttered, "thank you..." Their jaws dropped, and began to cheer for you.
"Y/n Spoke! Y/n Spoke!"
You let out a small giggle, but quickly tensed, getting all uncomfortable. You ran out, and into the crows nest once again.
They didn't seem bad...but you couldn't let that guard down just yet. The green haired man seemed to dislike you.
Zoro didn't dislike you, he just didn't know you well, and he was hostile to anyone he didn't know to be a friend.
