[Akainu- if you don't know. Also this is just a stupid idea I had.]
[This is for you, my pal TransponderSnail Happy Early Ninth Anniversary HAH]
Working as a Vice Admiral was tough work, training new members, dealing with Garp.
Its all the same really.
The light of your day, is when you bumped into one of the Admirals at lunch, even if it was Borsalino.
Akoijii was always fun to talk to while you ate your lunch- and all the lower ranks were suspicious of why you were close to them.
You were literally a Vice Admiral, so you didn't understand why they were so mad.
Maybe it was the fact you could have a comfortable conversation with Sakazuki.
You bumped into Smoker-
"Oh, sorry!" You smiled at him sweetly.
Smoker relaxed when it was you, and nodded, "yeah, its fine- trapped in your thoughts again?"
"Yeah- just wondering why garp is asking me to bake him cookies again." You lied, how slick of you, hehehe.
"Didn't you just bake him some the other day?"
"Yeah, but he eats just like that Luffy, I swear." You chuckled, and waved him off, "bye Smokey-Bear." You hummed, and walked down the stairs to the lunch hall.
Sakazuki was in his usual spot, eating his food while everyone was at attention.
It was odd, now that he was fleet admiral- he usually ate in his room.
You shrugged, and grabbed your plate, humming as you sat across from him.
"Afternoon Admiral Akainu!" You chirped, and began eating.
He glanced, then nodded, his features softening for a split second.
You didn't notice, you were too busy cutting up your vegetables.
"Actually, Vice Admiral, i need to speak to you about something in private later today."
"Of course! I'll drop Garp's cookie baking this late-afternoon." You hummed, and starting nibbling on your broccoli.
You popped most of your food into your mouth, and chewed.
Sakazuki sweatdropped, but maintained a straight face.
The two of you ate in a comfortable silence.
You stood when you were done, gently taking his plate from your hands, taking them back into the kitchen.
When you came out, Sakazuki was waiting, "lets go." He said.
You only nodded.
The walk with him was- silent, to say the least. He took long, strong strides, while you simply speed walked.
Smoker caught eye of you and Sakazuki- you simply gave him a thumbs up.
He shook his head, and walked off.
Upon entering the fleet admiral's office, you stood at attention, although a smile still remained on your face.
"Earlier this morning, I heard of half of the marine base being torn-"
Your face became all red as he began to speak.
"I have a perfect explanation." You chuckled, and sweatdropped.
"Well then- explain."
"So, I was going to the training grounds, and a seagull-"
"Ah, so the seagull scared you." He said, raising a brow.
