I frowned as I sat in Allison's bedroom. I watched as Lydia was carrying an abundant amount of dresses that she dropped onto Allison's bed. I looked up at Lydia who was grinning in delight. It was her birthday and she had many dresses that she had bought and had chosen to wear for the party.

"Clear your schedule. This could take a while." Lydia started.

"Oh, trust me. I did." I nodded, "I warned Stiles and Scott that they may not hear from me in a few days." Lydia sent me a short glare. "What? I know what to be prepared for."

"How many outfits do you plan on wearing tonight?" Allison asks cautiously watching as Lydia smiled in delight, laying all of her dresses down on Allison's bed.

"It's my birthday. I'm thinking hostess dress." Lydia started, picking up a striped dress. "Evening dress, then, mmm, after-hours casual." Lydia continued.

"Do I have to wear any specific dress?" I ask and Lydia nodded immediately.

"Of course you are. You are helping me co-host after all." Lydia smiled.

"I'm what?" I ask confused. Allison sent me a look and I nodded. "If I am then I should point out that you haven't sent out any invitations and you always send out invitations."

"It's the biggest party of the year, Kaitlin, everyone knows." Lydia shrugged.

"I was wondering if maybe this year things are different." I replied.

"Why would anything be different?" Lydia asks confused.

"Just 'cause things have been off lately. Things and people. Like Jackson." Allison spoke up, helping me out. I was starting to forgive her for what she had done, she was starting to earn her forgiveness. I may never forgive her father, but I may forgive her.

"What do you care about Jackson?" Lydia snapped, turning around to face the two of us. She asked Allison with such intensity and jealousy. She still cared about Jackson, but she shouldn't because I knew that Jackson didn't care about her.

"He's my brother and I'd like to know if he's invited." I reply simply. Jackson and I were dealing with some angst. Jackson had placed a restraining order on my two best friends but it was finally taken down. I was happy to see that but it didn't mean that I was going to talk to Jackson anytime soon.

"Everyone's coming." Lydia said calmly.

Lydia turned back to the dresses and started pointing them out. "This one's American rag." Allison and I looked at each other before looking back at Lydia. If this made her happy then we weren't going to stop her. "Mm, I love it. For me, not you." She held up another dress pressing it against Allison. "This one's material girl. It's for you."

A knock appeared on the bedroom door and we all turned to look at Allison's mother. "Mrs. Argent, what do you think of this one?" Lydia greeted.

"Oh, it's lovely. Allison, can I grab you for a moment to talk? Just the two of us." Mrs. Argent asked, her hand covered her shoulder and my eyes flickered to it. I turned pale, looking back at Allison. Derek couldn't have.

"Um, can we do it later?" Allison asks.

"Actually, to be honest, sooner would be better." Mrs. Argent admitted, wanting to speak to her daughter before she had to kill herself because Derek had bitten her. Tonight was the full moon and today would be the last day that Allison would see her mother.

"Party's at 10." Lydia informed us.

"Um, will you be around here before then?" Mrs. Argent asked.
