A really bad misconception of people these days is that "If someone wants to know everything about my life, he is being overprotective"
You trust your partner but hide with whom you talk? What you do in your life? Your secrets and all? Do you really trust him? Nope!
Overprotective nature means to forcibly restrict someone from doing something!
Being a bit protective and curious is a really "good" thing! Only a person who really loves you will be curious about you in all aspects as he's interested in you! And knowing more about with whom you talk and all is a way to understand you more, and sometimes it happens that we are talking to people who are not good for us and we don't realise. In such matters sometimes telling about people to our partners can help you to make right decision and stay away from people not good for you. It also strengthens the trust level/loyalty with your partner
And if you keep hiding then be ready for a breakup soon as that mentality breaks loyalty and trust often!
