But don't blame "them" for not letting him do anything else!

Shed tears over his demise
Not when he was alive!

Note:

Here "him" can be anyone(any gender, not just boy) who suicided. And "them" refers to the people who didn't let him get any other option in mind.

This is an irony on the fact that people call the ones who suicide as "cowards" as they gave up. But many people don't blame the ones who actually made him do that cowardly act. The person was in an utter mental or physical pain due to someone or some people. And he was facing depression/ loneliness since long and no one came to support him before he died. But after he died, many people came to show their support and cry for his demise.

Why don't they support the person when he/she is alive?

PS. If you ever find someone having suicidal thoughts make sure to have a frank and understanding attitude towards that person and be there to mentally support the person as much as you can. Don't just say them dying is cowardly. And DO NOT ignore them at all in such cases. You can save a life by just being there to help someone mentally fight their problems!
