Chapter 6: Jinx
Zeth calls Ursa and I forward, and we respond with girl power. I burrow underground to a few seconds later come into the air in front of Raiku and shoot earth shards. I land in a crouch, and Ursa uses my back to launch herself and fire three arrows at the same time into the armour. Raiku only slightly stumbles as Ursa and I stand side by side, ready to deflect. Shadow gets launched at us, and I bring up a wall of earth as I back flip to the boys as Ursa creates one of her small explosive stars, throws it at Raiku and dashes back to the group. The boys go next, riding on streams of their elements. They all dash and move around, dodging attacks and elements going everywhere. I can’t sit on the sidelines, so I beckon Ursa to come back into battle. She readies two explosive stars in her hand, and we dash back into the fight.
I jump over Zeth’s head and send a wall of earth at Raiku just as he fired some shadow at Zeth. Zeth nods in acknowledgement, and joins Brandon on the left of the armour. I stay in the centre as Ursa goes next to Muse. I’m singled out. I point both my middle fingers at Raiku as I only just block the wall of shadow with some earth. I do a few back flips to regain my footing, and I drop the earth and water off my arms and take a tidal wave of water from the nearby lake. I moved my hands to make it into a giant spike. I pull it back, run forward a little, and let it go. It hits Raiku just as he got hit by lightning from Brandon, causing him to get electrocuted.
Tossed around on the ground, Raiku surrounds himself with shadow, and just before he completely disappeared, he said something along the lines of “You won’t be alive much longer Ant-“
I stand with the group as they’re all tired from the battle.
“That’s some arch nemesis, Shadow.” Brandon smirks. I adjust the goggles on my head, and look at everyone else. They’re not hurt that much. They helped each other.
“We’re going to need more than just simple teamwork to get rid of this guy.” Zeth says. “He’s a tough cookie to break.”
“So... what happens if Raiku becomes shadow lord?” Ursa asks.
Zeth looks at the ground. “Raiku has no mercy. He’ll destroy every dimension until they’re all a replica of the Hell Dimension.”
“Well, you always have our help.” I pipe up. “And if we train a little more, we could take him down.”
“Let’s hope so Jinx.” Zeth looks over to me. “If my place gets taken, he’ll kill everyone closest to me, and will be laughing all the way.”
“Well then we’ll be ready.” Muse says. “We’re the Faithfuls. And we are strong.”
