I'VE TRAVELED TO A LOT, WITH MY PARENTS ESPECIALLY. Since my dad used to play baseball we got to travel with him wherever he played. That means we got to eat at so many amazing places-yet still Texas Roadhouse always remained my favorite.
Loud country music blasting, peanut shells all over the floor and don't get me started on their fantastic rolls. Pretty much everything on the menu here is delicious. I have tried almost everything and nothing has disappointed me. So, I thought what better restaurant to bring her on than my favorite one. Vi, said she wants the full Texas experience and I think so far we've done a great job.
Did I mention I'm even wearing my cowboy fit? The Wrangler pants, shirt, boots. I even threw on my tejana.
Violet's face when she saw me was priceless. But her attacking me in the truck and wanting us to pull over on the side somewhere to have sex-was the cherry on top of it all. I almost did, but we have reservations and there was no way we could miss that.
The hostess walks us over to our booth, I let Vi slide in first then take the seat next to her. I stretch my arm behind her head along the booth and she leans into me. Her little black dress rises up-just a bit-exposing her bare thighs and my mouth waters again. I may just take her offer and run back to the truck.
Our waiter comes over, introduces himself then proceeds to take our drink orders as we look over the menu. It only takes us a minute to decide on food. Violet takes out her phone while we wait and Snapchat's videos and pictures of us to our friends.
"You miss your parents?" I ask her, noticing her sending pictures of us to her mom. I know it was a little hard for her to decide on spending spring break with me and my family instead of hers since she won't be seeing then most likely until summer break.
"I do." She shifts her body towards me, so we can face each other more. "But I love it here. And I love being able to spend time with you and your family." She smiles. Her response is definitely refreshing.
I chuckle. "I know my family definitely loves you." I say and mean it. My mom and sister especially. They got along so well with her they were sad that I wanted some alone time with my girlfriend. "My mom and Mia, especially." I add. "I had to ask for permission just to bring out on a date."
Vi throws her head back in a giggle. "I'm so happy they like me. I was afraid that they wouldn't since-" She pauses and reaches for her drink to take a sip.
My turn to shift my body towards her. I feel the way she stiffens beside me. "Since what?"
"Since Nicole." She shrugs. "You were with her for a long time and you were in love with her-"
