STRONG HANDS WRAP AROUND MY WAIST. I feel the warmth of his body on my back and the softness of his lips barely touching my ear. "You cut your hair." He says into my neck. Causing chills.
My heart skips a beat. I've heard him compliment me so many times but it never gets old. Maybe it's cause I haven't seen Miguel in almost a month but his words not only make my heart swell but also my whole body tingles and it's definitely affecting my lady parts.
After school officially ended I went back home with my parents. Miguel did the same with his. My mom had a special family vacation planned for us to Japan and we spent almost two weeks over there. By the time we came back Miguel and his family went to Colombia to visit their family that wouldn't be able to make it to Mias wedding.
June has definitely been a busy month for us all.
Luckily, Mia chose the last weekend of June to get married. And now here we all are. Johnny and Alice traveled with me this time. Noah and Dom also came. And we'll Daisy already lives here.
"I did." I say, finally turning around to face him. And my breath gets lost in my chest when I see him in his all black wrangler jeans, button up shirt and tejana on. "And you shaved off the beard."
I'll admit... I had a bit of a crisis when I got back from Tokyo. Alice said she needed a trim & a blowout so when I accompanied her to get a trim for myself, I decided to chop my hair off. I wanted a Kylie Jenner vibe and honestly I'm not mad at it.
Some people might say that what happened with Colt was not a big deal, if nothing actually happened. And maybe they're right but only I know what I felt. That changed me forever. Since I was little I had never cut or colored my hair and well I thought what a great opportunity to change that. I won't ever color my hair but there's no harm in cutting it.
I pray that no one goes through it. Thankfully he was dealt with, not only expelled from Calvary but his parents could no longer pay to cover up for him. Other girls came out to speak against him, and even Drew. I'm just glad it's all over with.
But Miguel shaving his whole beard off I must say is surprising. His face looks so much younger. And now I can see those dimples-that won me over from the start-even more clear. Somehow though he looks manlier more toned. Ugh. I have to control myself. I may need a minute before I find a spot somewhere here and have my way with him.
"Temporary. It's only for the wedding." Miguel says. "What you don't like me this way?" He asks, pulling me closer to him.
"I'd like you anyway. With green hair or a Mohawk." I say and mean it.
