A NICE SHOWER IS EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED. Alice and I didn't say a word on the Uber drive back to our dorm. Doing the walk of shake was embarrassing enough.

Alice went straight for a nap once we arrived and I jumped in the shower. We have orientation today so I rather nap after my hair is dry. Both her and I only get an hour of sleep as we have to get up and look somewhat decent after the night we just had.

My alarm rings and I stumble out of bed and change into some black skinny jeans, black cropped top and my Doc Martens. Thankfully I blow dried my hair before napping so right now I can just quickly straighten it. Once my hair is silky straight like I want it, I manage to throw some makeup on. And walk out of my room.

"You ready?" I ask.

"Yes." She says while slipping on her shoes.

Alice has her red hair in a top knot bun with very little makeup. She has that effortless beauty look to her which I envy but admire at the same time. She's so naturally and effortlessly beautiful.

"I feel like shit dude." She says.

"Me too. I don't know why we thought that was a good idea."

Thanking heavens that we bought some Ibuprofen, we both take two while sharing a packet of pop tarts.

"Alright lets go." Alice says. I follow her down the hall and we stop to wait for the elevator. There isn't anyone waiting which tells me that we must be late.

After following a few students to where we should be at, we finally make it. We go ahead and grab some coffee before going in since I can only assume this will take forever and we need to stay awake.

As I predicted, orientation went on forever but I'm relived as it finally comes to an end and we're all dismissed to have our ID pictures taken. Once their placed in our hands minutes later we practically run out of the crowded place and head back to our dorm.

We order some pizza and spend the rest of the day lounging around watching movies. During Dirty Dancing we dose off and took a pretty long nap. She stayed on the couch and I was on the floor on top of multiple covers I used to make it comfortable.

My phone buzzes under me and I wake up to my dads missed call. I quickly push the callback button and wait for him to pick up.

"Babe?" He answers.

I whisper back. "Hey dad." Not wanting to wake Alice up. Thankfully her very slight snores and even breaths tell me she's still out.

"Were you asleep? I didn't mean to interrupt."

"That's okay. I've been asleep since 5." The time is now 8:30 PM.

"Ah, okay. Well I just wanted to check in and make sure you everything was good?"

"Yes everything is good. I'm all good."

He chuckles on the other line. "Alright well we will talk tomorrow then. I love you and be careful."

"I will. Love you too." I hang up and reply to my moms text.

A soft groan leaves Alices mouth and she stirs on the couch. "How long you been up?" She says in a very sleepy voice.

"Literally like two minutes."

"Dude! I'm hungry again!" She says laughing and I join.

We place an Uber eats order and eat some more while watching ATL. One of Alices favorite movies. She has a major crush on T.I. But it's actually a good movie. I'd never seen it before but I'm glad she introduced it to me.
