Should have known better pt.2

Two days later
In front of Y/N's hotel room
"Can you not?"
Y/N is trying to close the door when Rosé stops her abruptly.

"I just want to make sure that there is a slight chance for you to forgive me,"

"Go away, this is not the right time to talk about this,"
She pushes Rosé away from her door and proceeds to close it again.

"Please, Y/N, after everything I have said to you?"
She begs.

"Fuck off, Rosé, we are done,"
Y/N runs her fingers down her hair exhaustedly and heaves out a soft sigh.

"We are not, Y/N, freaking seven years, you know how much I love you to stay with you for that long,"

"You're really shameless, aren't you? You have no right to tell me that, if you chose to leave then don't even come back again and beg for me to go back to you, this is your decision, not mine,"

"You said that you still love me the other day,"

"So what? Roseanne, it doesn't mean that I must forgive you,"

"Come on, I know you hate me but there is always still a chance right?"

"Not after what you have done, I am forgiving enough to let us be friends. But if you continue to do this, I am afraid that we will not even be friends anymore,"
Y/N warns.

"Why do we become like this?"
Rosé asks with a shaking voice. Her vision turns blurred as her tears start to form in her eyes.

"I thought we're in love,"

"Roseanne, you are the one who changed our relationship upside down,"
If you think that Y/N is not heartbroken while she is facing Rosé, you can't be more wrong. In fact, not only Rosé, Y/N could feel the sudden urge to cry too as she sees her ex's tears falling down from her face slowly.

But what's over is over, Y/N does not want to return back to a person who can't keep her promise. Y/N believes that moving on is the best decision, and she still stick to that decision.

"I know, I was stupid, and I won't do it again. You just have to give me one more chance to show you,"

"Roseanne, you need to understand that this is not only about you. Have you ever considered how I feel whenever you come up to me and tell me to forgive you? The truth is you left first. Where were you when I was crying all nights? Where were you when I was having all those sleepless nights? And where were you when I was waiting for your explanation all nights?"

"I..."
This is the first time she feels so helpless in front of Y/N. She wants to say something so badly but she doesn't have anything in her mind at the same time.

"Right, Roseanne, now you understand why it's not that easy to forgive you after what you have put me through."
Rosé puts her hand down weakly, finally allowing Y/N to close the door.

"Thank you,"
Y/N says softly before she shuts the door close.

Right after Y/N closes the door, she collapses on the floor immediately. She can't put up a strong image any longer, she is so scared that Rosé destroyed her shield again. She could have just cried right in front of Rosé if she didn't remind herself that Rosé was the person who doesn't deserve her tears. Though she had cried over her for many nights before but, not right in front of her, she keeps her ego high.

"I'm sorry,"
Y/N could vividly hear Rosé say that. The apology is long overdue, finally, she feels respect again. That apology certainly means something, because ever since that day, Rosé never approached her again.

It is only after a few weeks then Y/N gets it that Rosé means that she will never come and find Y/N anymore. It takes her quite a while to digest that piece of information. Probably because Rosé finally realises that she has done something really wrong and she has no right to ask for forgiveness from Y/N, that's why she apologised that night. It symbolises the closure of their seven years relationship.

As for Y/N, she knows that she doesn't need to have hard feeling on Rosé anymore, at least now both of them agree that they will never get back together again. They will just concentrate more in their own careers and maybe casually say hi to each other when they meet each other in some events, that's inevitable, they just don't have to make the atmosphere awkward between them and the people around them.

Two year later
"Congrats, Y/N! I can't believe that you're pregnant now, you must tell us, how do you feel when you first received the news that you're pregnant?"
The host of the morning show asks excitedly.

Right, Y/N is married to a guy who truly loves her. The guy who partnered with her two years ago in the drama, that's right, the one which many rumours started from. Of course, she loves that guy too. So many things have changed in just two years, not only is she married, but she is also pregnant. Honestly, that's unexpected, she thought that she will only have a child in the later part of her 30s but things don't always go as planned, don't they?

"I am very shocked and surprised, I thought I was just sick so I went to the clinic with no mentally preparation at all..."

The next day
"Hi, I just want to say that I am sincerely happy for you, and I hope you have a cute little baby,"
Rosé texts her after she finds out that Y/N is pregnant from the yesterday morning show. At first, she can't control her tears, it's a mix feelings, she wants to be happy for Y/N so badly but there is still a part of her that refuses to believe that Y/N has already moved on. But she is clearly aware that she will never go to Y/N ever again either way.

"Oh, hi, it's been such a long time, and thanks for your blessing, I really appreciate it. So, how has life been?"

"It's great, I guess. I have another album coming up in July, that kinda keeps me busy,"

"That's good to hear, I will buy your album for sure,"

"Yeah, thanks for supporting me,"

"Well, I gotta go, I have a dinner date with my husband,"

"Yeah, sure,"

In conclusion, Y/N has moved on and Rosé is getting there, but not yet, she just needs a little more time. Bye
