Act 1: Hard to love

Three years ago
"You are pathetic,"
Rosé's best friend, Jennie, told her the obvious fact one day.

Not just a random day. A day after she rejected to date a perfect girl whom she had spent some time with. Everything of the girl she was going out with was perfect. She was kind, pretty, rich and she was super patient with Rosé and her issue. Yet, the blonde rejected her without any hesitation. Jennie couldn't be more speechless. Rosé was definitely one to ruin everything good in her life.

"I just can't see myself getting anywhere with her,"

"You need to stop this behaviour, Roseanne. How many girls have you rejected for the same fucking reason? Four? Five?"

"Seven,"
Rosé corrected her but it triggered Jennie immediately.

"Shut the fuck up! It's a rhetorical question!"

"Well, it's fine. I am still young and there will be many more chances,"

"Yeah! And you will fuck up for the same damn reason,"

"I can't do anything about it,"
Rosé gives up.

"Visit this therapist and fix your stupid issue before you spend the rest of your life dying alone,"
Jennie threw the name card on her face and rolled her eyes.

Just like that, she got to know Y/N and they dated for two months. But issue was issue. It couldn't be fixed within two months. Rosé still had difficulty trying to overcome her fear of imagining her future with her potential partner. Thus, even though Y/N loved her very much, so much that she thought she could fix her, she decided to back up for their relationship after noticing how Rosé was not ready for a relationship yet. She was more worried that their relationship would harm Rosé.

Rosé was not too sad about it although it did give her a stronger impact compared to her past relationship. To be fair, dating someone for two months was her new breakthrough as well. She felt more relieved than sad though. When she opened up about her feeling after their breakup, she could clearly see how disappointed Y/N was even if she tried to brush it off in a second. That was when she realised that it was a dumb idea to have her ex to still be her therapist.

Hence, she stopped seeing Y/N after that session. Their story was supposed to end right there.

Until...

"Do you know that Y/N is pregnant?"

"Y/N? As if the therapist I used to visit?"

"Or who else?"
Jennie frowned.

"Anyway, I started going to her again because I had been arguing with Jisoo a lot lately...are you fucking listening?"

Jennie shouted at her after seeing her getting distracted once again.

"How many months do you think she is in right now?"

"I don't know. I mean, for me to be able to tell that she is pregnant, she must be at least four months in right?"

"God damn it! I should have fucking pulled out that time! I knew it! Super thin condom is not trustable. It must have broken after two rounds. I felt the fucking stretch that time!"
Rosé brushed her hair back in frustration and her best friend just stared at her with her jaw dropped.

"What the fuck are you talking about? Are you the father- sorry, mother of Y/N's baby?"

"Maybe. I am not sure. But I think it's me,"

"Is it you or not? Oh my god! Are you retarded? Why would you fuck your therapist?"

"She is just so pretty and I felt comfortable talking to her. Well, then it just happened,"
