Y/N just broke up with her seven-year long girlfriend for a very simple reason - her ex is getting married to her younger sister.

How to explain this?

Maybe let's start with when she was three years old. Her younger sister was premature when she was born. Hence, her family paid more attention to her. As a three-year-old, she couldn't comprehend why her family would suddenly shift all their love and attention to another person that she doesn't even know. She just understands it as her younger sister is the one who took away all the love that belonged to her at first.

You could say that Y/N grew up with a mindset that way. It doesn't help when she came out the same time as her sister. The double standard they showed was her last straw to move out. They yelled at her, threw things at her and called her a monster while all they did to her sister was telling her that it was just a phase. Their explanation was that they expected Y/N to know better at her age.

Y/N was happy to move out though. She had her little family with her ex. A dog named 'Hank', a mom named 'Y/N' and another mom named 'Roseanne'.

At least she was very happy then. She thought she was loved and she finally could have something that she longed for.

And then it all just stopped.

"What is this? Why do I have your wedding invitation in my email sent by my sister? What is this supposed to mean?"

Rosé didn't intend for Y/N to find out so soon. She was supposed to let her go slowly, not so abruptly even though she knew both ways would totally crash Y/N out.

"Answer me! Tell me this is fake!"

Y/N saw the signs - the extra ring on Rosé's ring finger, new tattoo of the same surname that she thought it was meant to be for her, perfume that smelt exactly like what her sister wore. All alarming signs yet Y/N chose to ignore them because she was too happy in her own bubble all this time.

"Why are you not talking?"
Y/N chuckled bitterly and pushed Rosé lightly while her tears were running all over her face.

"I am sorry,"

"What are you sorry for? The wedding is real? You are with my sister all along?"

"I would move my things out within the next two days,"
Rosé wanted to leave but Y/N dragged her back.

"What do you see in her that I don't have? Why do everyone leave me for her?"
Y/N cried hysterically and yet it didn't stop Rosé from leaving without giving her an answer.

Two days later
Rosé came to collect all her stuffs when Y/N was just sleeping on the couch with all the empty wine bottles lying all over the marble floor. Rosé was afraid to wake her up as that would probably meant that Y/N would do the same thing to her like how she did two days ago. She didn't like confrontation, especially one that she was in the complete wrong.

"Take Hank with you,"
Y/N said in a raspy voice, facing the couch instead of Rosé.

"He should be with you. You need him more-"

"I don't want him,"
Y/N cut her off. That was something that Rosé didn't expect. Rosé knew Y/N love her the most and the second place would always be Hank. It didn't make sense that Y/N said she didn't want him.

"Don't say that,"
Rosé softly said, like how she gently talked to her every night before sleep.

Y/N didn't continue the conversation. She stood up from the couch and moved her way to the bedroom lazily as her head was still pounding in pain.
