Collaboration

Park Y/N, the most talented idol in the kpop industry. Even the haters can't deny the fact that she makes masterpieces. Rosé, the most love idol in the kpop industry, everyone loves her because of her humble personality and her kindness and also definitely because of her angelic voice. Almost everyone in the world wanted them to have a collaboration together.

Since both of them are very occupied, it becomes a huge shock when dispatch revealed that both of them are dating. They can't possibly find out any free time to hangout together because of their fully packed schedule. Nevertheless, unbeknownst to their fans, they lived under the same block, Y/N lives just one level above Rosé. Hence, they meet each other quite often in the neighbourhood.

At first, they never really talk to each other since they're not even close enough to start a conversation with one another. The one and only thing they could do when they met each other is just a wave to say hi.

However, things changed when they were taking the same lift to work. As if the god wants them to talk to each other so badly, he makes the lift stop functioning and everything went into darkness all of the sudden.

Rosé screams instantly since she has nyctophobia. Y/N tried her best to calm her down by pulling her in for a hug and patted her back tenderly. She did think that it might be a little inappropriate but Rosé did pull her closer after she surrounded her arms around her shoulder.

"I am here. Don't be scared. Everything will be okay soon. Just calm down and breathe in and out with me,"

Rosé does as Y/N told. Soon, Rosé feels better and she is able to breathe in and out more regularly to make herself feel less anxious. Luckily, Y/N is there to guide her through this time. She can't even imagine if she is the only one gets stuck in the lift.

"Better?"
Rosé nodded sheepishly at Y/N's question.

"Great,"
Y/N thought she should probably keep her hands bac kto herself since Rosé is better now. When she wanted to release her hands from Rosé, Rosé put it back agaim and secure them on her body tightly.

"No, don't let go,"
Rosé whispers softly.

"Oh...okay,"
She puts her hands back at the same spot awkwardly. In order to feel less awkward between themselves, Y/N decided to speak up first to lighten up the mood.

"I listen to your new song. It's such a bop,"

"Thank you, I like your songs too, especially the one you collaborated with Jisoo unnie,"

"Oh, that's my favourite song too, her voice is very soothing,"

'Yeah,"

"Maybe I should have a collaboration with you too, considering how many people would want to see us composing a song together,"
She said jokingly.

"Sure, I would like to, I will talk to my company about that,"

"Wait, are you serious?"

"Yeah, I am actually thinking about it lately,"

"Oh, okay. That's great. My pleasure to work with the main vocalist in the world dominating girl group,"

"My pleasure to work with the best singer in the world too,"

"I get myself a collaboration while getting locked up in the lift,"

"That's honestly hilarious, imagine people ask how we got ourselves to collaborate,"

"I know right,"

"It will be the most unexpected answer ever,"

A few seconds later, the lift starts working again. The light is on and they are able to see each other clearly. Y/N kept her hands back to herself while clearing her throat to distract herself from the awkward atmosphere.
