TRIGGER WARNING: SUICIDE

Izzy sat beside Clary. "We'll give you guys some space," Jace said. They both left. Izzy took Clary's hand. "Why didn't I see it sooner? How could I not see how much these awful diseases were doing to you?" Izzy said. “Right now, you’d probably yell at me for saying such things,” she said and almost chuckled at the thought of Clary yelling at her. “I can’t lose you, baba, not again, I probably wouldn’t last, just wake up for me, or atleast give me a sign that you can hear me," Izzy said, tears spilling down her cheeks. Clary remained still, getting even more paler if that were even possible. Izzy couldn't stay in the room any longer. She kissed Clary's forehead and left. She went back to their room and trashed everything. She threw anything she could find onto the floor. "Why her, god why her," she kept saying. She was too busy to realise that someone had entered the room. "Isabelle!" Magnus yelled. Izzy wiped her eyes quickly and turned around. "I heard all the banging, I thought someone was in here, are you okay?" He asked. "I saw her, I saw Clary," she said. Magnus sighed. "Damn it Jace," he muttered under his breath. He started walking closer to her. "You have to know that that's not permanent, there are lots of medications to help her get better," Magnus said. "She was so pale, she was cold, it wasn't right, magnus," she said. "I know, but she will get better, I promise," he said. "First PTSD, then depression, now this, she can't take it," Izzy said. "She's a strong woman, izzy," he said. "You haven't seen her on her bad days, magnus, you didn't see what she was like when I found her on the bridge, she tried to jump, if I had gotten there a couple seconds later she would've been gone, I can't leave her alone, especially after this," she said. Magnus didn't respond. She picked up a knife from the floor. "Iz? What are you doing?" He asked. She didn't reply, she just looked at it for a moment. She blacked out, she couldn't remember anything. She faintly remembered her hand gliding up her neck and the edge of the blade digging into her skin slowly. "Izzy please, put the knife down, you have a wife that is sat in that hospital wing, scared out of her mind, wondering why you aren't there, if you give up on her now, you'd never forgive yourself," Magnus said. She put the knife down on the floor, blood slowly oozing from the small cut she made. "She's awake?" Izzy asked. Magnus nodded. Izzy basically knocked him over on her way out, sprinting down the corridors to the infirmary
