"Mr Bennett. We gotta pick up the middle schoolers too?" I heard Mia question.
He nodded in the rear view mirror and she slouched down into the seat.
This shit was embarrassing enough as it is. Why am I a senior still riding the bus?
"Here come the loud ass middle schoolers" Berry one of my favorite sophomores exclaimed.
I rolled my eyes and pulled my hoodie over my eyes sinking deeper into my seat.
The kids boarded the bus and we took off towards our neighborhood.
Getting off the bus I walked into the house, throwing my bag onto the bed and stripping out of todays clothes.
"Wooah Geni" my dad yelled shutting the door back after busting in.
"That's why you knock" I said rolling my eyes pulling my shirt over my head then opening the door.
"Yes?"
My dad had his hand covering his eyes.
"I just wanted to let you know I'd be leaving out soon, Jasun is upstairs. If you plan on going anywhere just tell him or text me"
I nodded my head and he shut the door.
Climbing into my bed, pulling the covers over me and putting on Euphoria and reaching into my snack drawer.
"And don't be eating snacks all day G. You need to eat real food" my dad bussed back in.
I tossed my gummy snacks back into the drawer, paused my show and went to make me a hot pocket.
"Hot pocket isn't enough Geni" my dad complained.
I tossed it back into the freezer. "Can I eat cereal then?"
"Jasun made food earlier today. It's your favorite" "Alfredo?"
My dad nodded and I jumped happily to the refrigerator.
"Why she all jumpy and happy?" Jasun said coming down the stairs.
"Cause of the Alfredo" my dad smiled as he kissed Jasun cheek.
While I waited on my plate to finish warming I made my drink.
After my food was ready I grabbed my Gatorade and kissed Jasuns cheek as well and skipped into the room.
"Hell if cooking the Alfredo every day gonna make her happy, I'll do it" I heard Jasun chuckle as I hopped into the room.
"Right" my dad joined in.
"See you later Geni" he called out.
I peaked my head out the door and waved as I watch them kiss and Jasun walk dad to the door.
I don't care what nobody says. I love my two dads!❤️
