It was my dads and niques mom blowing up my phone.
"Hello?"
"Genesis. What was you doing were been trying to get a hold of you all day"
"My fault, I was sleeping"
"Woulda never thought. You needa get down here. Like asap"

I put two and two together and rushed up and took a shower.
Incoming FaceTime call from Shelly💓
"Wassup?"
"Nothing. Why you looking so busy"
"Cause I am. I gotta get back to my city real quick. I think it had something to do with my girlfriend"
Shelly nodded her head.
"Everything alright?"
"Hope so"
I closed the gas tank and hopped in the car.
"Shelly ima hit you later, I can't focus right now"

I hung up the phone and got down the road asap.
2 hrs later.
"Jasun. Dad" I yelled rushing into the house.
They came from around the corner.

I don't know why it took me a minute to come back to reality but when I did I quickly jumped into her arms.
She smelled like her usual self. The good smelling vanilla soap she used. Her hair wasn't wild and free like I liked it, it was braided but I still loved it.

I was flabbergasted and I could barely say anything. I just jumped back into her arms.
"I missed you so much" I said into her neck. I was about to cry.
She rubbed my back and carried me into my room and shut the door behind us.
"I missed your crybaby self too mama"
I kissed her hand.
"What's going on with your head?"I asked tracing her two braids with my fingers.

I pulled her on top of me but she ended up flipping me on top of her.
