Somebody bang on the door interrupting our show time.
"Bro we just got everybody to leave. Can we be left alone now?" She said irritatedly as I climbed out of bed and went towards the door.
"And why the fuck they banging at the doo-"
I swung the door open.
"Why we the last people to know she back??" Shelly spoke as her and Lucky pushed past me.
"SHELLY?!!" G extra ass yelled excitedly and ran to the couple engulfing them.
"Lucckyyy" lucky dragged out sarcastically.
"I was getting to you" geni said detaching from Shell and onto her.
Pulling away from the couple, Geni looked between the two of them then to me.
We sat there for a good minute in silence as she continued.
"So y'all don't see Nique?"
The two stared at her for a while before turning to me dapping me up.
"That shit looked forced. We all gotta talk"
"Cause it was" Lucky mumbled.
Geni pretended not to hear instead she walked her way to the kitchen and we followed.
"Shots" she said pulling out her favorite liquor.
She passed out the shots to each of us and geni and I reached for our cup as Lucky and Shelly looked at each other curiously.
"What's wrong?" G asked.
"She can't drink?" Lucky spoke for Shell.
"I'm.- were expecting" lucky told geni gently.
"Oh".
G grabbed Shelly's shot and took it. I can tell it kind of hurt her a bit and that's why I changed the subject. I'll be asking them about it later. I'm excited and happy for them. I know Genesis is as well but is sad we lost ours.
"So uh. Y'all tryna play cards?" I asked. It was our favorite game as a group so far.
Everybody shrugged agreeing and walked towards the living room.
A hour later...
"Fucking. UNO. OUT" Lucky semi yelled excitedly as she slammed a card on the table.
"That's game bitches" she exclaimed once more while dancing.
"Oh shut that up. You been cheating this whole time" I told her jokingly.
"HOWWW"
"You dealt" Shelly said and Geni agreed
"Y'all some sore ass losers and, baby you supposed to be on my side"
"I don't mess with cheaters bae. You just so happen to be mines though" Shelly said that last part sarcastically.
"Whatever. Let's fye this bitch up again. This time you dealing since I cheated" She said handing the cards to me.
I nodded and started dealing.
As the game got started, lucky started "mhm"ing and bobbing her head.
"Watch this y'all" ...
Lucky slammed her last uno card on the table then got up and ran around celebrating her 3rd win of the night.
"I swear she be cheating" Geni said taking a sip of her wine.
"I hope everyone is cool. I missed this time. I missed us. The gang" geni said.
It was never beef on my behalf, they just stopped talking to me.
Lucky and Shelly gave each other a look then looked at Geni before looking at me.
"Aah you know it's not like that. I love you bro" Lucky got up dapping me up.
"Yeah. All bullshit aside, we shouldn't have cut you off like that" Shelly said dapping me up as well.
Just like that, we were all made up. Just like old times. Except it's not. Shelly's pregnant and Geni's not.
We're still trying to rebuild us- our relationship.
