"You left"
I hear interrupting me from my thoughts seeing Nique. She looked about as bad as me.
"You left because we lost the baby"
I choked on my words a couple of times before I could get out a sentence.
"I- im sorry. I had to"
"Genesis no you didn't"
I nodded my head on the verge of tears.
"I didn't want you to go through it"
"We could've went through it together. We SHOULDVE went through it together" she said getting a little louder and closer.
"I wanted you to be happy." I managed to choke out as I backed closer to the wall.
"Do i look happy? I've been stressing, pulling my damn hair out since you left. Your dads blame me. My own mom and brother can't look at me. My fucking players think it's something wrong with me. The police been questioning me and watching me. Lucky and Shelly don't even talk to me anymore. Anytime they see me they look at me in disgust. I'm on the verge of being evicted and my job looking very thin right now. And to top it all off I started back old habits" she said getting LOUDER and closest to me as I slid down the wall.
Seeing the hurt in her eyes, tears started running down my face.
"And it's all because of you. YOU"
I jumped at her raising her voice to the max and bussed out crying and curing into a ball against the wall. I didn't make shit better, I made it worse.
"It was all because I missed you" she said softer creeping down beside me.
"I didn't mean to scare you. I just missed you that's all" she said pulling my arms from my knees, hugging me and pecking my face.
"I missed you genesis".
She cried as she hugged me and kept a tight grip.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry" I kept repeating in her neck as we cried.
She'd gotten tired of saying 'it's not your fault' so she just rubbed my back.

"Can I run you a bath?" Nique asked me.
My head hurt so much I could barely make out what she'd said.
I nodded my head and she got up and went to the bathroom.
After a few minutes, Nique came back in the room and reached her hand out and I grabbed it.
I tripped a little due to the massive migraine giving me blurry vision and my legs being weak from being on my butt so much.
She led me into the bathroom and shut the door behind me.
She took my hand and led me infront of her as she slowly took off my clothes.
She unhooked my bra and pulled off my panties and sat me in the warm tub.
I could feel the grit feeling if the lavender scented epsom salt under me as I relaxed.
Just how I like it.
I rested my head against the wall behind me as Nique took my dirty clothes and put them in the washer.
I started to drift asleep in the tub until Nique came back in and sat on the floor beside the tub.
She sat beside the tub like a lost puppy staring at me. I could feel her burning a whole in my face. Somehow it seemed just right. She started to stroke my hair behind my ear and kissed my forehead before getting up and leaving the bathroom.
Id drifted off to sleep.

"Come on" she said shaking me a little.
I got up and out of the bath.
She wrapped a warm towel around me and we went into the room.
Memories started to flood again as I saw the bed I bled in.
A tear fell but Nique quickly wiped it.
She gave me my favorite vanilla scented lotion and a pair of my old shorts and a shirt.
After getting lotioned and dressed, Nique pulled up the cover allowing me to lay down. In my old spot. Where I lost my child.
I started to cry again.
Nique quickly rushed to my side and consoled me.
After getting the hint she led me out of the room and shut the door behind us and led us to the living room.
"We can sleep on the couch" she whispered and went to make the couch comfortable.
I wandered off into her room.
Everything was packed and the bed was gone. Only thing left was the mattress which was against the wall.
I pulled it down and climbed in the bed snuggling niques pillow.
Nique came in after hearing the semi loud noise that came from me letting down the mattress.
"That'll work" she mumbled then grabbed a cover and put it over us as she pulled me into the spoon position.
Id ended up flipping over into her arms in the night. It felt right. I missed her touch. I missed her.
