Me and Mo had been chilling all weekend. Sometimes my dads would stare at us like we crazy but they lowkey just be happy I have a friend. They fuck with Mo forreal.
"What movie next dingy boy" "you choose stank girl" "bet. We watching Bambi" "I don't wanna watch that" "so whatchu wanna watch?" "Not Bambi".
I put on The Incredibles and relaxed.

"My dads here? You know?" "No they left" he said going into my smack draw. I shrugged and went to answer the door.
"Who is it?" No answer.
I opened the door and saw this brownskin chick with a mean ass mug.
"Yes" "Mo here?" "You are?" I asked.
She rolled her eyes inviting herself in yelling his name.
He came around the corner.
"Nique??" He said in disbelief.
"Let's go" she demanded
"Can I finish the movie first?" "Nah let's go" she reached out for Mo.
I swatted at her hand and stepped infront of Mo.
I heard her scoff, ignoring it I rolled my eyes.
"Mo who's she?" I asked.
"Motrevion. Get your shit and let's go for this bitch blow my shit"
I turned around hearing what she said.
"Escuse me?" I said stepping into her face.
Mo got in between us.
"Geni this my sister Nique"
"Irrelevant. I don't give a fuck who she is. You can stay if you want. After all I am the sister that was there for you through everything. No matter the circumstances" I said staring her directly in her eyes making sure she felt the disrespect coming from each word.
She raised her hand like she was gonna hit me but Mo pushed her back.
"Low blow Geni. And ima just go" he said going towards the door.
Nique death stared me til I was out of her sight and I did the same. Don't no bitch scare me.
"See you Monday mo" I said trying to be petty.
Nique stuck her middle finger up and I blew a kiss to it and slammed the door behind her.
Thursday
Mo hasn't rode the bus since what happened. Hasn't replied to none of my texts either.
I hope he's not mad at me. Nique did start it first.
"Geni what happened with Mo. why he stop coming around?"
"His sister came back in town and I guess she was mad I took her spot"
"Well that was kind of rude" "it was. Then when I returned energy she got mad"
"Y'all need to talk. She probably didn't mean anything by it" "Yeah whatever".
My dad side eyed me
" im not apologizing to her." "You need to. We miss mo" Jasun budded in.
"I do too".
"I'm still not apologizing" I added.
Friday afternoon

My dads were upstairs so I just went to open the door.
"Mo?" "Hey geni" "wassup" I let him in.
"Hold on" he said stopping the door and pulling Nique in and I rolled my eyes.
"She needs to talk to you" "about?" I said looking at mo.
"Look. Can we talk or not? If not we finna dip now cause it's dark"
I nodded my head telling her to come on and Mo went upstairs to my office.
I sat on my bed and she leaned on my dresser.
"I just want to start off by saying i apologize for calling you a bitch the other day"
"I accept your apology"
And I also apologize for being stingy with Mo. but you gotta understand my point of view"
"Please help me. Cause all that you did was uncalled for"
"And I understand that"
"And..."
"Yo are you even listening? Do i needa just save my voice and energy?"
"Im listening"
"I apologize. But I also didn't like the way you came at me".
"You started it" "and I also apologized for it"
It was an awkward silence.
"So you not gonna apologize?" "For..?" "You deadass spoke on some shit you know nothing about then threw it all in my face. You don't know the reason why I wasn't in mos life. Do you?"
"I don't" I admitted.
"Okay then"
Awkward silence again.
"Aight. I'm out"
"Wait. I apologize for rubbing stuff in your face I knew nothing about" I said sincerely looking her into her eyes.
"Ion even want that shit no more" she snapped leaving out the room.
I followed her out kind of broken. This why I don't waste my breath on bitches.
"Bye Mo. have a good night" I said hugging him.
"And call me"
"Y'all good?" "Nah. Ion think so" I answered and she just glared at me.
I shut the door behind them.
