Tucking your hair behind your ear, you shyly retold her the gist of what happened, not wanting to go too much in depth. It was still private and you'd prefer to keep the details of what happened between you and Bakugou.
Ashido hung onto your every word, her eyes sparkling with excitement and she shrieked, jumping for joy when you finished despite you frantically waving your hands to get her to quiet down.
Aizawa strolled over to you with a pacified Eri sitting on his shoulders.
You met his inquisitive gaze and his eyes softened at the pure happiness radiating off of you. He didn't need to ask to know that you were more than alright.
A little bit aways from you, Bakugou was busy pummeling a wailing Kaminari and sheepish Kirishima into the dirt for betting on his love life and you clapped your hands over your mouth, trying not to laugh at the comical scene of his friends being knocked over again and again by the enraged king.
Shaking your head, you skipped over and grasped onto his arm before he could do any more damage. By now, a lot more people were staring as you two reappeared from where you had vanished for an hour.
"I think that's enough now..." You urged quietly, steering him away from the two others and winking at them when they sent you a hilarious look of overexaggerated gratitude, the hare rolling on his back and the half-dragon doubling over as they laughed behind Bakugou's back. "C'mon, I wanna meet everybody else."
Jirou shook her head and smiled to herself as her leader shouted at you to let go of him so he could kill those two and it grew wider when you redirected his attention to something else to distract him for a second.
Bakugou stopped fighting against you halfway to the center where it was most densely packed, dozens of warriors from the Eastern Alliance lounging around.
The white bellbird from earlier and the viper were among those that were gathered and you bowed to each one in turn as they introduced themselves.
Bakugou was slapping his allies on the back to introduce them, but since he was using all the nicknames he came up with for them, you had taken to springing over to any new face and talked to them first before your alpha could ruin it. He didn't bother to hide how he didn't like Deku talking to you with that stupid smile or how Icyhot's eyes lingered just a beat longer than was necessary in his book.
So the Barbarian King was reduced to a grumpy and pouting mess and he trailed behind you like a lost puppy as your curiosity won over and you interacted with everyone enthusiastically.
Sato, Asui and Yaoyorozu were particularly sweet and welcoming and you loved meeting everyone else.
In such a short period of time, you figured out how precious Koda was, how energetic and eager Iida could be, and how much Bakugou really cared for his friends despite saying otherwise.
Your heart warmed at the thought that he had this kind of support system. You hoped that one day you could be a part of their circle, too.
Eventually, Aizawa, Eri, Shinsou, Sung-ho, the rest of the kids from Bakugou's clan and those that had gotten in trouble with Bakugou when he left the medical tent along with you wandered over to where you guys were at, the children running around in circles.
By now, it was way past their bedtime and they had to be getting sleepy, but like any other kid, they were excited by all their new friends they were making.
To your surprise, Sung-ho was the most energetic out of all of them.
You caught him as he crashed into your legs and Bakugou steadied you from behind as you tipped over from the force.
