Kirishima grinned a sharp-toothed grin, the type that was reserved especially for striking fear into his enemies' hearts. He could hardly wait to dish out some well deserved punishment. The League had this a long time coming.

"I'll contact Midoriya's clan and Shoji's. Tokoyami's got ties with Hawks and Todoroki's got a connection to Dabi, that wanted outcast who turned crime lord, if you want help." He rushed out all in one eager breath, already turning to leave to send Kaminari, their hare and default messenger saved precisely for times like these.

Bakugou growled, biceps bulging as he folded his arms over his chest. "Don't fucking need their help."

But he would accept it. Because even though he didn't work or played well with others, whoever had specifically done this to you and neglected you this badly was going to pay. Big time.

"Uh..." Kirishima scratched his head as he watched the girl he had missed all these years excitedly chase the butterfly into Bakugou's tent and he shook his head as you disappeared inside once again. "Is it okay if she stays with us, man?"

Bakugou scoffed and he swept his cape back as he followed after you. "Well where the fuck else is she going to go, Shitty Hair?"

Rhetorical, of course. No way was he going to kick you out and abandon you. Especially since Kirishima had yet to explain what that brand on your upper thigh was.

He didn't need him to say it out loud though. Deep down, he knew the weight that a mark of that kind carried with it, he had seen it before.

You were going to be hunted for the rest of your life until you were dead if he casted you from his clan, so naturally, you would have to stay with them.

Sending you to live with fucking Icyhot or that shitty nerd was out of the fucking question. He didn't fucking care if they might be better equipped and more sensitive to your circumstances than he was.

You were his fucking problem now.

It was hard to pinpoint why exactly he cared so much about a scruffy, undernourished omega, but he didn't dwell on it now, needing all the energy he could get for what came next.

"Oi." He barked, breaking you out of your playtime with the painted butterfly.

You beamed, darting over to him without hesitation and crashed into his chest as he stepped into his tent. It seemed like you had forgotten your earlier fear of him now that you were reunited with Kirishima and saw how at ease he was here.

Inadvertently, it had proved that there was nothing here to be scared of, that the man you were so scared of earlier was your childhood best friend's best friend.

If Kirishima could trust him, then so could you.

Bakugou stumbled back a couple steps at the force in which you tunneled into him but righted himself quickly and steadied you with a scowl. His hands automatically fell on your waist but he quickly removed them.

"Watch where you're going, dumbass." He scoffed but it lacked any of his usual annoyance as your small arms curled around his midsection.

But you just blinked your big eyes up at him, as if everything went in one ear and out the other. So unlike your jumpiness earlier. He almost didn't recognize you.

Bakugou swallowed hard as his heart flopped in his ribcage the second you trained those big orbs onto him and tried as he might, he could not calm down.

You squeaked as he roughly untangled from you and strode across the room to grab something. You tilted your head curiously as he suddenly stopped, as though he had remembered something he should've thought of earlier, and backtracked towards you until he was face to face with you once again.
