With a groan, I sat up from the uncomfortable chair that I slept in. I turned to Alisa who was still sleeping peacefully on the bed. I sighed and like every morning, I walked outside the room and went back to my house to cook food. Although hospital food was healthy, it just didn't taste good.

After making breakfast, I packed it for myself and Alisa and went back to the hospital.

Getting inside, I turned to see Alisa already awake, "I kind of panicked a while ago, I thought you were gone." She said with a relieved sigh, I flashed her a smile, "I'm not going to disappear, don't worry. And also, I apologize for leaving without saying anything... you were still asleep and I didn't want to wake you up."

"It's fine, Yn. Thank you once again for making our food, if you didn't, I would have been stuck eating hospital food."

I chuckled, "Yeah, I would have, too. Anyways, let's eat?"

-

"It's a bit boring here inside, let's sneak out?" Alisa asked, I looked from the tv to her and blinked a few times before shaking my head, "No, you're sick. You'll get better soon so just wait, I don't want you to feel worse than you are feeling."

She only pouted at my response, she was expecting me to agree with her but she only looks at me with sadness on her face. "Please? Just for a little while, I just want to go out..." After a few minutes of her pleading, I decided to take her outside.

Removing my jacket, I put it around her as I pushed her wheelchair and took a different way outside to avoid the nurses. It was four in the afternoon, the sun was soon going to set, I looked down at Alisa to see her with a smile on her face. "The air outside is so much better than inside," She said, still with that big smile on her face.

"Mhm, I agree." I nodded, pushing the wheelchair further until we reached the playground area. I sat on the bench with her in front of me as we just watch children playing around, "Can I hold your hand?" She asked, I nodded and decided to wrap my arms around her from behind and held her hands.

"Wanna know the three things I wanted to do with you?" She asked, still watching the children play. "Only three?" I jokingly said in an offended tone, "Well, top three things I wanted to do with you."

I hummed in response, closing my eyes and laying my chin on her shoulder. "One was to move somewhere with you. Whether it be farther away in Japan or outside Japan."

"Two was to buy a house and live together."

"Three had children. I know you said you didn't really like children, but I still kept that in mind when you'd agree."

I pecked her cheek, "Did you read my diary?" I asked, she raised her eyebrows, "Of course not, why are you asking?"

"That's what I've planned, and why are you talking in the past tense? We can still move somewhere, it'll take a few more months, but I'm willing to wait that long." I said with a smile, my eyes still closed while I let go of her hands and hugged her. She held my wrists, closed her eyes, and leaned her head on mine.

"Your nurse might catch us outside, I don't want that to happen," I said to her, she only hummed but didn't move. "Whatever, he can do whatever he wants but can't we stay here a little longer?"

"That's fine..." I said, finally opening my eyes and looked at her. She was still beautiful as ever, her hair was still gray like how it used to be and her skin was still soft, there wasn't any significant change in her appearance, but even so, she looked different.

She opened her eyes and turned her head to me, our faces inches apart, "Yn?"

I smiled, "I love you."
