FLOWER CROWN 𝘶. 𝘸𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘴𝘩𝘪

It was finally the end of all afternoon periods, I skipped to the volleyball court as always for Reon and Tendou. Most of the time, Tendou. Well I mean I would be lying if I said I wasn't there everytime for Tendou. He was just hot and I love him to death even though he indirectly rejects me everytime I tell him I do with some random, half-assed reason.

"Tendou~" Singing his surname, I peeked through the gap of the big doors, I then barged in, startling majority of the team. "Looks like your girlfriend is here, go entertain her. We're on break anyway." Yamagata said and pushed him to my direction.

"Wanna know what-" Tendou was about to happily announce whatever he wanted to tell me when I cut him off, "Wow.."

"I know right? I'm so handso-" I cut him off once again, it wasn't actually for him. It was for that big and tall-looking girl sitting on the bench.

She had medium length, olive colored hair with messy bangs. She wasn't very skinny but she wasn't fat either. Actually, I'd want her to kill me with her thighs. Her eyes were fierce and had a poker face on as she wrote something down on the clipboard.

I moved Tendou aside and walked to sit beside her as if she lured me in. With a smile, I move closer to her face and whispered a, "Hi." She flinched, her face turning red as she turned to me. Our noses were about to touch, but neither of us moved.

"Fuck, are we about to kiss right now?" I had to ruin it with that and laughed out loud, pulling away as I distanced my face from hers. "She's about to leave you for our manager," Semi said to Tendou. "Nah she won't. She's-"

"Can I have your number? Oh and, let's go on a date?" It was blatant and straightforward, she was taken aback but she gave me her number anyway. "Sorry, I probably creeped you out. I'm Yn."

"Ushijima.." Her voice.. was deep. "Oh my god, I think I love you." I blurted out, the guys looked at me with wide eyes and Ushijima started to get shy. "NAH, YOU AREN'T LEAVING ME RIGHT??" Tendou dramatically fell on his knees while he faked a cry.

Following with his drama, I closed my eyes and turned my head, clenching my fist on the collar of my uniform. "I'm sorry, I love another."

Their practice soon resumed and with that, I offered to walk Ushijima back to her home since I learned that she lived near me. We walked by a couple of shops before remembering there was a sweets shop nearby. "Ushijima-san, do you like sweets?"

"Only strawberry and vanilla flavored sweets.."

"Alright." I gave her a smile before dragging the girl inside the shop, "Which one do you want? I'll pay for it."

"Ah, you don't need to do th-"

"No, no! I insist." Smiling at her as I gave her the menu. She slowly looked through the pages before pointing at a strawberry icebox cake, I ordered it for her before ordering mango graham (or any other cake or smth).

I decided to drag her with me and went to the big area surrounded by trees near my house. Bringing out the picnic blanket I always brought in case, I layed it down and put the mini cakes in the middle and we both sat down.

We spoke a lot, mostly just introduced each other and whatever stuff was necessary and talked about things we both liked and didn't like. As she spoke about herself, I made a flower crown with the flowers on the ground and added a few, unharmful sticks with leaves and put it on her head.

"I think it looks pretty on you."
