When Cordero found an apartment near Ross' house in New York, he immediately prepared his belongings and flew to the state. Once he moved to the apartment, Cordero looked for a plug who sells cocaine. As he found one on the streets, he made a deal with the plug and asked them to sell him cocaine monthly, to which they agreed in. Soon after, Cordero's relapse began.

Meanwhile, months passed by, and Kade's pregnancy went on without any unforeseen happenings that affected both he and his future baby boy.

One day, while Ross was watering plants in his garden, he suddenly heard Kade scream at the top of his lungs upstairs in their bedroom in pain. Kade said, "Ross, our baby just kicked me stronger than he did before. Take me to the hospital now!"

So, Ross assisted Kade downstairs and immediately drove to the hospital.

When Cordero noticed Ross' car driving to the hospital, he started following it from miles away so that nobody would notice. As Ross pulled over to the hospital, Cordero made his way back to the apartment he was renting. He snorted lines of cocaine in his living room again after that.

Meanwhile, at the hospital, Kade was rushed to the delivery room.

The midwife who attended to Kade said, "Well, as you may have been talking about with Dr. Richard Scott, this baby's going to be delivered normally. Do you wish to continue, Mr. Gottlieb?" Kade nodded, exhaled sharply, and replied, "It hurts so bad."

Dr. Scott immediately went inside the delivery room.

When he felt the baby's positioning, Dr. Scott said, "Well, Mr. Gottlieb, it looks like your baby's coming out head first. We're just waiting for your water to break." Kade nodded and replied, "Thank you, Doc."

An hour and a quarter later, Kade's water broke.

The midwife then said to him, "OK, Mr. Gottlieb, I'll need you to assume the birthing position." Kade replied in agreement and proceeded to do what he's told. Then, the midwife told Kade, "Now, I want you to bear down, and push, Mr. Gottlieb."

Kade started pushing.

Ross held Kade's hand while he's pushing. Half an hour of pushing later, Kade told Ross, "Ross, I don't think I can bear this pain. It hurts so damn bad." The midwife then said, "Push as hard as you can, Mr. Gottlieb."

So, Kade does what he's told.

As Kade pushed at this point, he started groaning louder, since he felt that the pain he was experiencing was worsening. Ross caressed Kade's cheek and said, "He's almost there, Kade. Push for the baby, OK?" Kade started crying out in pain while nodding.

Another half hour passes, and Kade was pushing harder.

After the last push he made, the midwife told Kade, "The baby's almost out, Mr. Gottlieb. Push for me as hard as you can." A few minutes later, Kade screamed out in pain as he pushed for the last time before passing out. As Kade passed out from pushing, the baby's head came out.

So, the midwife told Ross that the baby's umbilical cord was not wrapped around his neck.

Once the baby came out, the baby started crying. Since Kade's amniotic fluid was clear, the midwife did not need to suction out the baby's airways. Afterwards, the midwife cut the baby's umbilical cord and cleaned him up.

After the birth, Dr. Scott came back in to perform different tests on Kade's baby.

Meanwhile, Kade woke up a few hours later alone in the delivery room. He thought to himself, "I must've passed out while I was giving birth to the baby." As he woke up, Ross smiled at him while carrying the baby and said, "Meet our baby, Kade. Isn't he such a cute one?"

Kade shed a tear and nodded.

So, Ross gave Kade the baby. He kissed the baby's forehead and told him, "I'm sorry Daddy wouldn't get to feed you much of his chest milk." Ross replied, "Don't worry, Kade. We can give him some formula, then mix it with your chest milk." Kade smiled and said, "Oh, that's right."

Since both Dr. Scott and the midwife already finished the tests that they needed to do, Kade and Ross were told that the former would be discharged a few days later.
