Juliet's POV

"So, where exactly have you been staying for the last week?" Aaron said, as we walked to the motel in the night time.

"It's called The Massachusetts Motel." I said.

"Wow, what a clever name." He said, and I laughed.

"You will. Also, I heard what happened between you and Hayes. I'm sorry. If there's anything I can do, let me know." Aaron said, and I nodded.

"Wait," he continued. "Isn't the police tracking you down?"

"Yeah, why?"

"They're probably tracking you down with your phone.." He said, as he took my phone.

"Aaron..." I said, and he looked at me.

"Do you want to get found? Or do you want to stay hidden?" He asked.

I sighed, and he knew what I was going to say next.

"If you're going to smash my phone, I'm not going to look." I said as I turned away.

I heard the phone smack on the pavement, and Aaron's grunt as he probably smashed his foot against it too.

"You can look now." He assured me.

My phone was shattered into pieces. There was no way they could track me now, I suppose.

When we walked in the motel, I waved at the woman working in the lobby. Her name was Shelby and she owned the whole thing with her husband.

There was only two floors to the motel, and since my room wasn't that far up, we took the stairs.

I unlocked the room with my key, and turned on the light.

"Welcome," I said. "To my humble abode."

Aaron looked around at the room, even though there wasn't anything to look at. I dropped my stuff on the dirty sheets of my bed, and sat down.

I noticed how dirty everything was. The brown carpet, the yellow walls, the wooden desk next to my bed, the old TV on the other side of the room, the brown couch, and the wooden coffee table.

There were three doors, one to get in and out, one for a closet, and one for the bathroom. There was also a window with a fire escape.

"This looks...uh, nice." Aaron said, joining me on the bed.

"Not really." I laughed. "But it's all I got."

"How about you stay with me? Back in New York." He said.

"What are you doing in Boston, anyways?" I asked.

"This is the only Burger Palace that knows how to make a burger right." He answered.

"But seriously, Boston to New York?" I asked.

"It's not as bad on the train." He said. "So, how about staying with me?"

"It's fine. I wouldn't know how long I would stay plus I have a job at the restaurant. I wouldn't want to cause any trouble."

"You won't be. Come on, it's going to be fun..." He wiggled his eyebrows, making me laugh.

"Thanks, but no thanks." I said. "But I hope I see you more often."

"You too." He said as he got up to leave.

"Wait! Aaron, you know how you said if I need any help with Hayes, you'll help me?" I asked, and he nodded.

"Well, I think I need your help..."

Hayes's POV

"So, Hayes. This tour is going to be amazing if we add you to a few dates."

I was in a Skype meeting with a Digitour founder, her name was Kelly.

"That sounds like an amazing idea! What are the cities that I would be attending?" I asked, and Kelly smiled.

"Well, we booked a ton a venues. Long Island, Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Charlotte, Nashville, and Birmingham." She said.

"Sounds like a good idea." I nodded.

"We also heard about your search for Juliet, and we talked to a lot of people. They said that they found her in three locations- New York City, Long Island, and Boston. They're trying to narrow it down now, but they're not certain." She said, and I nodded.

"Please, if you hear anything, let me know." I said.

"Sure thing. I'll send you more information about Digitour, but other than that I guess this is goodbye!" She said, as we exchanged goodbyes and ended the call.

I sighed, and decided to pack my bags for the first venue, which was New York City.

When I was done packing my things, I walked back downstairs and my mom (Elizabeth) was holding up a Chinese takeout menu.

Skylynn held on to my leg as I talked to my mom.

"Hey, Hayes. What do you want for dinner?" She asked, passing me the menu.

"I...uh..." I said, as my phone vibrated in my pocket. "I want a California roll." I continued as I answered my call.

"Hello?"

"Hayes! What's up man. It's Aaron." Aaron said through the phone.

"Hey! We haven't talked in a while. What's up?"

"Well, I was thinking that...since I'm in New York and I realized you've just been added to Digitour with a New York date....we should hang out." He said.

"Yeah, that sounds great. I'll see you then." I said.

"Cool." Aaron said, and I could hear him smile from the other line.

"Hey, just a random question, but have you heard from Juliet? At all?" I asked. He paused before he answered.

"No, sorry. But hey, if I were to hear from her, I'd let you know." He said, and we exchanged goodbyes before we hung up.

I was looking forward to hanging out with him, but some part of me knew he was lying.
