TRIGGER WARNING
Juliet's POVI pressed my hand against the window, which seemed to be the only thing separating me from him.
"Hayes!" I yelled, balling my hands to fists, and pounded them against the window.
I walked over to the door, but Cam grabbed my waist.
"Let me go!" I yelled, squirming out of his grasp.
Cam dragged me back to the waiting room, and he put me down.
"The doctors said to let him be." Cam sighed.
"But...he was crying when he stated at me." I said.
"You have to let the doctors do their thing. They know what they're doing." He assured me.
"Thank you, Cam." The doctor said from behind him. "We did a lot of tests when he woke up from his nightmare."
"What was it about?" I asked, and the doctor looked at Cam, then back at me before he answered.
"You were hit by a car, Juliet." He coughed awkwardly. "He says that he keeps having dreams about you dying."
"So..is that why he cried when he saw me?" I asked.
"That's a possibility. Another reason could be that he might have envisioned the crash again." He said.
"When will he be able to come home?" Cam asked.
"Today. We just prescribed him with medicine and once he takes it, he'll be good to go. Of course, the medicine won't relieve him from flashbacks or memories, but it will relieve him from having serious panic attacks." The doctor answered, and I nodded.
Hayes and Nash came up from behind the doctor, and the doctor patted him on the back.
"Oh yes, here he is- the man of the hour." The doctor laughed, and then he left.
I stared at Hayes for a brief moment, and he looked back at me. We waited for one of us to talk.
"Juliet. I'm so sorry...I-"
I interrupted him with a hug, and he instantly hugged back.
"I thought you'd be mad." He sighed.
"I'm just glad you're okay..." I said.
When we pulled apart, we walked back to Cam's car, and he dropped me off at Ashley's house.
"Uh, thanks for the ride." I said to Cam, as I got out of the car. I walked over to his window, and he rolled it down.
"No problem. I'll see you later?" He said, like a question. I nodded.
He drove off, and then it occurred to me that I didn't say goodbye to Hayes, or Nash.
I walked up to the door, and opened it. It was already unlocked.
"Juliet!" Ashley screeched, hugging me too tightly.
"I can't breathe." I whispered, and she let go of me.
"What the hell happened?" She asked, and I explained everything to her.
"That's awful. I feel so bad." She continued, and I nodded.
"I need to get some sleep." I said, and she smiled.
"Yeah, sure! I was going to hang out with Nash later if you wanted to come?" She asked.
I walked up the stairs, mumbling a yes to her as I yawned.
