Juliet's POV
weeks later

For a while, we took care of each other, like Aaron wanted us to. We spent every waking moment together, and we didn't want it any other way. It was like we were living in our own world.

Reality hits eventually, whether we like it or not.

My phone rang, flashing the name of a familiar friend on the screen. I smiled and answered it.

"Michelle!" I exclaimed.

"Hey Juliet! Oh my god, you won't believe it! Shawn's doing a few shows for his tour and he picked Charlotte. His show is tomorrow, you want to go?" She asked.

"Yeah! How are you guys?" I asked.

"We couldn't be better. How are you and Hayes?" She asked, and I laid down on my bed, staring at the ceiling.

"Good. We found out that Aaron wrote letters to us and we just got them. They were so touching, Michelle. I miss him." I said.

"Don't we all?" She said.

"Yeah but....I don't know. I wish I hung out with him more, even after we broke up." I sighed.

"Juliet, I get it. But...you have to understand that you had no control over what happened with him, alright?" She huffed, and I paused.

"Yeah. Alright. I'll see you tomorrow, okay? What time should I come?" I asked, changing to subject.

"Uh, four. Sound check and stuff. I'll see you then." She said as she hung up.

I continued to look up at the ceiling, and someone knocked on the door, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Hey." He said. His shirt was off, a towel wrapped around his neck. His hair was wet, so he must've showered.

"Hey." I said back, he came over and pecked my lips.

"How do you feel about going to Shawn's concert tomorrow?" I asked, and he grinned.

"Hell yeah! I miss that guy so much." He said, and I laughed.

"Okay well it's done. He's coming to Charlotte so don't make any plans because that's what we're doing." I joked.

"Oh yeah, I wouldn't want to do anything else." He said. "Is there anyone else going to be there?"

"Not that I know of. Michelle didn't tell me but when I find out I'll tell you." I said, laying down on my bed. I closed my eyes.

"Okay." He said, laying down next to me. He wrapped his arm around my waist, and then he grabbed my hand.

"Sounds good." He cooed in my ear, which followed by a series of snoring.

I decided to fall asleep too, even though I was too excited for tomorrow.

//

"BABE WAKE UP I'M TOO EXCITED." Hayes jumped on the bed, shaking me to wake up.

"Why am I dating you?" I groaned, jokingly.

"Because I'm so handsome." He ran a hand over his body.

"Whatever you say." I rolled my eyes, making him laugh.

"We should probably get ready. It's already-" I paused to check the time. "Eleven, and I need to eat food."

"Already have that covered. My dad left some food for us downstairs so all you have to do is get ready." Hayes said. I got up and walked to the bathroom.

"I'll meet you down there." I said, closing the door behind me, and he yelled "okay."

I got ready as quickly as I can, knowing Hayes was probably counting the minutes until I got out.

I walked down the stairs and he was already done the breakfast Chad left, which was a breakfast sandwich.

It was already one, almost two. It took an hour to get to the venue, so we had to get going.

Elizabeth was going to take us, so when I finished, Hayes pulled me to her car, and we drove off.

I spent the entire ride listening to Shawn's album. My personal favorite, Bring it Back was playing when we got there.

Fans were already lined up at the venue, but since they didn't recognize the car, we didn't get mobbed.

Elizabeth dropped us off at the back entrance, and there was a guard there.

We didn't even have to say anything, and he let us in. We walked to the dressing room, where Michelle was laughing at something Shawn said.

"Guys!" Michelle said, running over to hug me. She picked me up and twirled me around. We were a squealing, jumping mess.

"I missed you so much!" I exclaimed, and she said it back.

"Shawn was just going to do sound check soon, so if you wanted to come, you're welcome to." She said.

"Of course!" I said, and someone's hands covered my eyes.

"GUESS WHO!" The person screamed in my ear.

"Shawn!" I said, and he pulled me into a hug from behind.

"I missed you, bud." Shawn smiled.

"I missed you too. We hardly see each other." I pouted.

"Yeah! I might have to cancel a few shows just to hang out with you." He laughed, but I couldn't tell if he was serious or joking.

"Sure, Shawn. Let's go see you do sound check." I said, and he led us to stage. We watched in the wings, as the VIP fans watched from the audience. He answered a few questions and the show was soon after.

We were chilling in the dressing room, and someone led us to our seats, because we couldn't stay in the wings for the show.

The seats were in the back, but it was perfect because I could still see him. The fans began to fill up the venue, and some of them asked for pictures from me and Hayes.

At one point, everyone started screaming our names, making me blush.

Once the show began, all the attention went to Shawn, and everyone was getting wild.

"I'm going to go to the bathroom." Hayes yelled over the music, and I made room for him to leave.

Shawn sang Aftertaste, and then Show You, which I recorded if Hayes wanted to see it.

Arms wrapped around my waist, grabbing both of my hands. I got startled, but when the person leaned in to kiss me, I kissed him back, thinking it was Hayes.

It wasn't. It was someone ten times worse, the spawn of the devil, and I can't believe I just kissed him.

It was Liam, and he seemed satisfied with what he just did.

~.~
A/N: if you guys don't remember Liam, he's the bad guy at school, and I quote Madi on this one (from chapter 5), "Because when he doesn't get what he wants he goes violent."
It either he gets violent, or he gets what he wants...
WHAT DO YOU THINK WILL HAPPEN NEXT?

Love you guys. Sorry I haven't been updating as much as I have been. I'm trying to work on it, but since school's ending they're piling a lot of work on me. Bear with me, please. Much love :))
