Juliet's POV

That was when my phone rang. I checked who was calling, and it was Hayes. I put it on speaker.

"Hayes? Oh my god. Are you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah. Ow-that hurts. Sorry, I'm at the hospital. My arm's broken. Our driver was drunk and he sped off the highway. Most of us jumped out before he crashed into that tree." Hayes said.

"Oh my god...oh my god. Most of you?" I said.

"Aaron was still in the car." Hayes said.

"Is he okay?" I asked.

"Yeah. He's in the hospital, but he's burned up really bad, Juliet." Then he started to cry. "I don't think he's going to make it."

The wholes room went dead silent.

"Where's the hospital?" I asked, and he gave me the address.

We ran out of the hotel, and tried to get a taxi to go to the hospital. When we arrived, we all ran to the front desk. The lady was startled when we ran up to her.

"We're looking for Aaron Carpenter." I said, and she gave us the hospital room.

"No more than three visitors!" She yelled as we all ran to his room.

Hayes was sitting at Aaron's side, with a cast on his arm. Kelly and Jonah were there too. Jonah had a few bandages on his head, and Kelly had a brace on her knee.

"Are you guys okay?" I asked, as I walked inside. Everyone else stayed out.

"I'm fine." Hayes said.

"This is awful. There's no way tour can finish. We can't do this without him." Kelly said.

Aaron's dying and her biggest concern is about the tour?

"And he's going to die. I can't.." She wept.

"This is all that driver's fault." Jonah said.

"Where is he?" I asked.

"He died at the crash sight. They reported it as a DUI." Hayes said.

"Do you remember what happened?" I asked.

Hayes's POV

The car swerved back and forth a couple of times, and it made all of us scared.

"Uh, guys?" I whispered. "Any idea why this car keeps moving back and forth?"

"I think the driver is doing it for fun. I mean, he's laughing while he's doing it." Aaron said, and we all stared at the driver.

The driver was laughing as he kept moving the steering wheel back and forth.

"This driver's insane." I said, as Aaron unbuckled his seatbelt to talk to him.

"Excuse me, I-"

"Look! I can go fast." The driver said, like a child, and stomped on the pedal.

The speedometer gradually went up, from forty, to fifty, until we reached to one hundred.

"Stop!" All of us seemed to yell. I got on my phone and texted Juliet.

If I was going to die, I wanted my last words to tell her that I loved her.

"Why? It's like a rollercoaster." The driver said, as he turned the steering wheel sideways. The car was turning in circles.

"Everyone jump!" Aaron commanded, as people opened their doors and jumped out of the car.

I opened my door, and jumped out on the grass surface. When I tumbled, my arm smacked against a rock, and I screamed in agony.

"Someone call nine-one-one!" Jonah yelled, staring at the car.

I saw the orange and yellow fire coming out from the car, right before I blacked out.

Juliet's POV

"So, that's what happened?" I said, and Hayes nodded.

"Hey! What are you doing in there! Get out!" The nurse yelled, and I walked out of the room. I stood by the door.

"I'm sorry but visiting hours are done." She said to Hayes, Jonah, and Kelly. She forced them to leave.

"I'm not leaving." I said.

"Well, if you're staying then so am I." Alyssa said.

"We can all stay, I guess." Kelly said. "The waiting room's right over there." She pointed, and we all took a spot on the chairs.

There were a few couches, which most of us occupied. I sat next to Hayes and laid my head on his shoulder.

"You scared me." I whispered, after a long period of silence.

"Yeah I-" he said, and I smacked his arm.

"What the hell were you thinking?" I asked, and he rubbed his arm.

"That really hurt!" He exclaimed.

"Hayes. Don't ever do that to me again." I said, as I hugged him. He kissed my forehead.

"I won't. I promise." He said, as I closed my eyes- but I didn't actually sleep.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"It's three o'clock." He laughed.

"I guess this is good night." I smiled, and I slowly fell asleep.

"I think you mean good morning." Hayes laughed, and the raising and falling of his chest brought me into a deeper state of sleep.

A/N: hey guys! I hope you liked this chapter.
So how was your day? I watched the Longest Ride and I CRIED. LEGIT TEARS WENT DOWN MY FACE. IT WAS AWFUL. But other than that it was such a good movie!
