Final Chapter

Life is full of challenges. Sometimes it comes to our mind that we should give up already, that we should not face those challenges anymore.

Im the one who also face those challenges. Nung nagka amnesia ako, nung sinabi ni nanay beth na nangaliwa si daddy, nung panahon na namatay ang tatay ni joy. Nung nadepress si mommy at lumayas siya. Isa laman iyan sa mga hamon na dumating sa buhay. Pero lahat ng iyan ay nilabanan ko.

I can't believe na ang babaeng pinangakuan ko nung bata pa kami na papakasalan ko ay nasa pintuan na nang simbahan sa oras na ito.

She's wearing a tube style weeding dress. Naka bun ang buhok niya at kahit sa malayo ay makikita at mapapnsin mo malaki na ang tiyan niya.

Her cousin Bea is also here. We agreed na sa amin muna siya titira para may kasama at katulong si joy sa pagbabantay sa anak namin pag lumabas na ito. Even kuya Van and her Fiancee, Vanessa and my titos are also here.

Its so sad dahil wala ang parents ni joy. They can't see na ikakasal na ang anak nila. But i guess they are watching from above and has huge smile on their faces.

Unti-unti nang lumakad si joy sa gitna dahil tapos nang umupo ang mga brides maid and also the Grooms.

May bitbit siyang Bulaklak at kasama niya si daddy sa paglalakad papuntang altar.

As soon as nakarating na sila sa tapat ko. I offered my arm in her at kumapit naman siya dito tsaka ngumiti.

"Anak. Take care of this girl okay? Alam mo naman na ikaw nalang ang karamay niyan. Kaya alagaam mo yan." Dad said at tumango naman ako.

"I will dad. I promise." At tuluyan na kaming dumiretso sa tapat ng altar.

Nang nasa tapat na kami altar ay nagsimula na ang pareng magsalita.

"Welcome to this celebration of love and blessing of the new life being joined together by the marriage of this two couple here in front. They come to dedicate themselves to God and to each other, and with His eternal help, to fashion their house into home, their familiy into a unity of His kingdom, and to achieve within their lives a hint of eternity." The Father said.

Marami pa siyang sinabing verse about bible at nakinig nalang kami.

After a minute. Dumating na kami sa gitna ng Celebration whice is the changing of vows.

"At this moment, let's hear their vows for each other. The Groom can Start First." Saad ni father.

"Ehem" i clear my throat first. "Joy, first of all i just want to apologize to all the mistakes that i did. I want to say sorry for forgetting you for almost 3 years because of the amnesia. But honestly even though i didin't remember you, there's a part in my heart that keeps telling me that i already have someone i love, and i can"t imagine that its you." Panimula ko pero tumulo na agad ang luha.

"Joy, thank you for accepting me as your husband. I tell you this everyday, but it's better to say it today in front of everyone. You are the love of my life. You are my bestfriend, you are my lover , you are my inspiration, you always make me happy. You make everyday better and also you make me better. I promise to love you forever. I promise that im always here for you lean on. I promise that i will be a good husband to you joy." Naiiyak kong sabi.

"I, Julius Howlard, take the, Clarrisse Joy Pintuan, to be my wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, FOR RICHER, FOR POORER, in sickness and in health, to love you and to cherrish, till death do us apart, according to God's holy ordinance, i pledge myself to you." Sabi ko at isinuot ang singsing sa daliri niya tsaka pinahiran ang luhang kanina pa tumutulo sa mata ko.

ilang sandali pa ay nagsimula na si joy magsalita.

"Julius, i may not be a nice and caring person but i will try my best to fullfill my role as a wife. I want to thanked you because for almost 3 years that we are apart, you still looking for me. Thanked you for not giving up. I love you because you are a strong and kind person. I love you because you love your family and frieds dearly. I love that your family will become mine and my family will become yours even though their are in heaven right now." Naluluha niyang sabi.

"You make me unbelievably proud and i promise that i will make you proud as your wife. I vow to laugh with you and cry with you. I vow to value our differences just as much as our common ground. Thank you for staying beside me julius" sa oras na ito ay umiyak na siya.

"I, Clarrisse Joy Pintuan, take the, Julius Howlard, to be my wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, FOR RICHER, FOR POORER, in sickness and in health, to love you and to cherrish, till death do us apart, according to God's holy ordinance, i pledge myself to you." Sabi niya at isinuot ang singsing sa daliri ko.

"The weedeng will end here. I give you the blessing to be Husband and Wife. You may kiss the Bride" sabi ng pare.

I kissed joy and i hugged her tight. Humarap kami sa lahat ng bisita at nagpalakpakan sila. Lumapit naman si mommy at daddy sa akin.

"Congrats anak. You're finally married." Sabi ni daddy at tinapik-tapik ang likod ko.

"Pre! Woahh! Joy is finally Mrs. Howlard" biro ni Luis ng lumapit siya sa amin. Tumawa nalang kami ni joy.

Agad naman kaming pumunta sa Reception ng weeding. Dad rent a Resort for the Reception. Halos siya ang gumastos ng kasal namin dahil daw para makabawi siya sa akin at kay joy.

The guest are started eating habang kami ni joy ay nasa harap at taas ng stage.

"Julius, mahinang tawag sa akin ni joy at hinawakan niya ang kamay ko. Lumingon ako sa kanya at nakahawak siya sa tiyan niya.

"What? Are you okay?" Tarantang tanong ko.

"Parang manganganak na yata ako" nahihirapan niyang sabi.

"Luis! Please ready your car! Manganganak na si joy" sigaw ko kaya lumingon ang lahat ng bisita sa amin.

Agad naman naming dinala si joy sa ospital at naghintay sa labas. Lumabas ang doktor at pinapasok ako sa loob.

As soon as i entered the room. I saw joy and our baby. Lumapit ako sa kanila at tiningnan ang baby ng nakangiti.

"Its a girl. Ano pong ipapangalan ninyo sa kanya?" The nurse ask me.

Tumingin si joy sa akin at naghihintay sa sagot ko.

"Joyce Heaven.. Joyce Heaven will be the name of our baby." Sagot ko ng nakangiti.

Yan ang pinangalan ko sa kanya dahil siya ang magiging source ng kasiyahan namin ni joy ay siya ang unang biyayang binigay ng langit sa amin.

Being a teen is fun. But when the day comes and you will be older enough, being a father is so much fun. Love your family and love ones. Being a rich is not a reason to step back and ignored those poor people.

Husband and wife should help each other to Make a living and to have a good life.
