Chapter Eleven: Friends? Forever

"May God punish those deceive with a thousand punishments!" They said.

The adult men simply froze.

"Although my niece is interested in her studies. I don't think she's at the level of thier highnesses. I had already heard that the highnesses was extremely bright but ... it appears the the rumors did not to the highnesses justice."

Hehe, rumors will spread even more that we are child geniuses.

I feel kinda bad though.

Why?

I'm guessing he'll go force Jennette to studies those. The reason we may seem like geniuses is because we're mentally adults but Jennette is an actual toddler.

... okay yeah, I'm feeling guilty.

"Your highnesses, I will try harder ... ." Felix said with his hand on his chest.

What's up with him?

"I'll go explore a bit!" Athanasia waved as she left with Felix. Angelina took her new book and looked at Arthur.

"I'll go the garden and read a bit. Later."

"Later."

Arthur was preparing to go the Alpine House and was making plans on what to do and say. Will he meet Jennette? What should he say to her? Will Ijekiel become his ally or enemy? Only one way to find out. He wore a nice suit:

"My prince, it's time to departure."

"Yes, yes. I'm coming."

Lily walked Arthur to the carriage and asked.

"Would you like me to accompany you?"

"No it's fine. You go rest, lily. Bye bye!"

"Please return safely." They waved at each other. Arthur stared outside the whole time until he finally reached the Alpheus House. He stepped outside and noticed how many knights and maids came along with him. 6 knights and 5 maids.

"I thought only two knights would come as me escorts?" Arthur asked one of the knights.

"His majesty ordered more so that we can insurance your safety."

Huh, he's slowly turning from a tyrant to a daddy.

"Blessings and Glory upon the star of Obelia. Greetings, prince. I hope your travel here was pleasant." Roger bowed.

"It was nice. Your house looks very charming." Arthur said as he stared at the House. It had grey, gold and white colors with knights at every corner.

"Thank you, your highness."

They walked inside and Arthur took in the inside of the house. So far so nice, the design of the walls and the accessories were aesthetic for a Duke's house. Roger opened the doors to a room and Arthur found a boy with the same silver hair and golden eyes as Roger but-

Okay, he's a cute kid but-

WHY IS HE SO TALL?!

Arthur stared at the little boy who bowed.

"Blessings and Glory upon the star of Obelia. Hello, prince Arthur. My name is Ijekiel Alpheus. It's an honor to meet you." He said, politely. Arthur looked at him up and down.

"Hello. You have a play room?"

"Yes-"

"Great, let's go play kingdom empire."

"Kingdom empire?"

"I'll teach you."

"Alright. Please follow me, your highness-"

"Address me casually."

"H-how can I-"

"If you want us to be friends then we should get comfortable with each other. Show me the way, Ijekiel!" Arthur smiled. Ijekiel was taken back but smiled.

"Okay. This way, your hi- err."

"Arthur. It's not that hard to call me. You have any action figures?"

"A few yes."

As they walked, Arthur realized it's hard to not like Ijekiel. He was cute, smart, polite and shy. Adorable like a puppy-

Hehehe.

"I have a few rules that us mandatory for us to be friends." Arthur said, playing with the horse action figure.

"What are the rules?" Ijekiel asked, his eyes wide with curiosity and awe. Arthur knew that Ijekiel didn't have real friends and they both can help each other in the future.

"A) To stay truthful to each other. B) Never leave each other especially if we need help. C) if we find information that involves the other, we tell them immediately. Fair?"

"Fair. Friends?"

"Friends." They shook hands.

Now we have a useful ally and I got myself a buddy. Arthur smiled.
