"I'm serious, your highnesses! His majesty said so."

"Jennette said that but-"

"That's some bullshit." Arthur finished. The two were sneaking around the palace. There were a few knights walking so the two hid.

"Shit, shit, shit. There's so many knights around." Arthur mumbled

"Do you really think he won't kill us if he find us?"

"I said MAYBE, sis. M-A-Y-B-E. If we get killed, don't hold it against me." Arthur shrugged. Athanasia glared at him.

"But they also brought it magicians. It's a big too much. Let's go." The two used invisibility magic.

"Thank god, Jennette and Kiel let us stay at their residence." Arthur sighed.

"Yeah, we wouldn't have been able to hide this long."

let's follow him. He's kind of slow so he won't notice-

"Who's there." Felix raised his hand and red mana appeared. Out of it, his sword pierced through, next to Athanasia's head. Her jaw dropped.

"The imperial palace isn't a place you can just-"

Arthur took out his good hand and out of his mana, his own sword came out and he clashed his to Felix's sword. Getting it away from her head. Felix turned to attack but his eyes widened when he saw who it was

"Felix! It's us!" Arthur raised his good arm. Waning when he injured arm ached to his neck.

"Prince? Princess?! How did you?! Gah! I just- are you hurt anywhere?!"

Athanasia was trembling. Arthur snorted.

Tried to tell ya. He's not the 'Crimson Blood Knight' for no good reason.

Felix took the two to a stair case and his behind it. He crouched down to try to look less scary.

"Don't tell daddy. We snuck in here." Athanasia said.

I didn't know he could make that kind of face too.

He was around dad for so long, of course hw would make that kind of face. Arthur rolled his eyes.

"We just came here to make sure everyone was doing well."

"Your highnesses, his majesty, misses you. He's ordered everyone to bring you back."

"Let's go see his majesty. I'll go and get permission. Right now!"

"... really?"

Arthur looked away. His face forming a scowl. Athanasia hugged his side.

The two were outside a room and Felix beside them.

"His majesty has granted us permission to receive an audience. Let's go." Felix smiled softly.

Hold my hand. Athanasia said. She noticed how Arthur's hand was shaking. She took it and squeezed.

The doors opened.

At the other end of the table. There sat Claude with an emotionless face. Arthur looked away. His heart aching and Athanasia grit her teeth.
