It was night time. Way past the bedtime for the little princesses and prince. So Claude ordered Felix to take his children to Lily to have them tucked in to bed. Angelina and Athanasia stood in front of Claude. They made grabby hands and for a second Claude thought they wanted to be held but Athanasia then said-
"Down, papa."
Claude decided not to say anything about the bold demand. He knelt down to his daughters. What they did next was too shocking for him that he froze.
Angelina quickly pecked his cheek and hid behind Athanasia. Then her older sister also pecked him on t he other cheek. Arthur simply gave him a hug.
Ain't no way was he going to kiss him. Nope.
"Night, papa!"
"Night, daddy."
"Night."
Claude stared at them.
Did we break him?
I think we did-
Great job, Athy. You killed him.
ME?! YOU also-
I only gave him a hug, idiot.
"Good night." Claude said, standing up.
Well he's back to his normal self, I guess.
Felix guided the trio back to their rooms. The red headed knight gave Claude a grin and the emperor simply glared at him lightly.
The three were tucked in, comfortable in their pajamas, teeth were brushed clean and ready to sleep.
Until Arthur had an idea.

We're trying to sleep.

Okay so ... .
Felix walked back to Claude and bowed.
"Their highnesses are in bed, as your ordered." Felix smiled.
Claude didn't say anything, a small smile forming on his lips and said.
"Then who are these?" Claude asked, his eyes going down to his robe.
"Huh?" Felix looked down and his eyes widened."
"Eeehhh?! Your highnesses?!"
The three siblings were giggling as they hid behind Claude's robe. Holding on to him as they grinned at the red headed knight. Claude had a soft smile on his lips as he looked at his children who were a beam of light to him, bubbles of joy. Felix was tired but he fondly smiled at the little kids.
