Chapter Forty Three: Girl Talk

"Maybe I should stay a bit longer ... ."

The next morning was a bit of a chaos for them. Lots of invitations were sent to them that they had to put it in a basket. Hannah and Ces had gone about boys and girl their age.

Yeah, no. I'm not gonna listen to them go on about girls that would want me. Just no. Later. Arthur waved and left to the horses stables.

Me and Ijekiel are going to run some tests on our perfumes. You're on your own, sis. Angelina patted her shoulder.

Both of you are traitors.

Angelina walked to the garden house with laboratory equipment and as she did she saw Arthur and Cale Henituse racing on their horses. Cale Henituse was Felix's nephew from his sister. He resembled Felix so perfectly that the first time they met-

8 year old Arthur stared at Cale in silence. Athanasia and Angelina were glancing both at Cale and Felix the whole time.

"... Felix is this your secret love child or something?"

"Y-you highness!" The Red knight was flustered.

"I'm Cale from the Henituse Family. Felix is my uncle."

There was no mention of him in the book.

Yet again none of our friends were mentioned in the book.

True.

"Alrighty. Cale?"

"Yes, your highness?"

"Cale, we'll be friends from now on. Call me by my name."

"W-what?" Cale looked up at his uncle who smiled reassuringly.

"U-uhm."

"C'mon. Let us try again. Cale!"

"Y-yes?! Err- Arthur?"

"See? Not that hard now was it? Let's go I want to show you my action figures collection."

"I-i have some too."

"I can tell we'll get along just fine."

Angelina smiled. They had gone far indeed. She opened the door and saw Ijekiel placing the flowers that they left the few days before in water to soak.

"Sorry for the being late."

"Not at all, princess. Shall we begin?"

"We shall."

Some time later they extracted the flower-scented water with a saucepan by squeezing it gently with a cheesecloth. Then they simmered the water in low heat and evaporated until little water is left.

"Is the ethyl alcohol ready?"

"Yes. The oils?"

"Right here."

"Let's begin."

The two were going to mix rose, lavender, rosemary and ginger as a test. They were going to use coconut as carrier oil. The Top Note was going to be Lavender and mint. The Middle Note was Chamomile and Yarrow. The. Base Note was Vanilla and Ginger. They added it with alcohol.

"We'll resume in 48 hours. Then it'll be done." Ijekile said when he secured the lid on the dark-glass bottles.

"I hope it'll be good."

"Me too."

"Would you like to brew tea?"

"That would be nice, yes."
