NIGHT-TIME...

Arthur looked around out of his door and ran as quickly and as quietly as an assassin.

I could've been an excellent assassin or Agent. Pfft, SHEILD would've been glad to have me. Arthur thought.

He knocked on Athanasia's door quietly but there was no answer. He huffed. Knowing his sister as he does, there's no way she'd sleep this early. Arthur opened the door, searching for his sister.

"Athy?" Arthur whispered.

He heard sobs coming from the bathroom. His worries took over his body and walked to the bathroom. He saw his sister, knees to his chest and her head resting on her knees as she hid her head with her hands. Her shoulders shaking, sobs and sniffles were heard from her.

"Athanasia? Hey, hey." Arthur sat down next to her and wrapped his arm around her shoulder.

"Arthur?" Athanasia looked up, her jeweled eyes filled with tears.

"Athy ... was that really THAT bad of a trauma?!"

"Oh you fucking dick head!"

"Ow!"

Minutes later Angelina came in to the room, hugging her sister tightly. The two siblings confronted their oldest sister and listened to her concerns about her being a crown princess. That she doesn't know anything about ruling an entire empire. Being an Empress is way than being a President!

The brother and sister had told her that she always had them by her side. It would take the devil himself to separate them, but they'll doubt even THAT could keep them away from each other. Athanasia promised them that she'll tell them if she had any worries or concerns about anything.

Soon after the visit. They found Athanasia sleeping next to Claude, her head on his lap and Claude's hand brushing her hair. They could've taken a picture if they had their phones-

Damn they missed mobile phones. Greatest invention for real.

For whole two years, Arthur visited Penelope. Athanasia met her and liked having her as a friend. Angelina would educate Penelope with the books she would bring. However-

Arthur was on his horse. Looking around. He had a few gifts for Penny and Ruby. He guided his horse to the house they lived in-

His eyes widened. His heart felt as if it stopped.

"W-what the heck-"

The house looked like it was evacuated. The color faded, the roof had lots of big holes in them. The door open. Arthur jumped off his horse and ran inside.

"PENNY?! PENNY! RUBY?! WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED HERE?!" Arthur ran a round the house but nothing. All the belongings were gone. The furnitures, beds and such were all gone.

What the fuck happened while I was gone?! Arthur thought to himself as he ran out to talk to a mutual friend of him and Ruby.

It's been at least 8 months since he last visited Penny and Ruby. He was busily with his trainings. Travels with Arjen, Ijekiel, Ciel, Asher, Zen. They had become a team. A group for justice. A boy hero group, basically.

(Can ya'll guess the other three characters I added? One from a manga and the other two from an anime 😉)

"Kurt! KURT!?"

"Huh?! Your highness! You've finally come back!" The middle aged man said. He owns an antique shop and is paralyzed from his spin to his legs.

"Kurt, where're Ruby and Penny? Are they alright? Did they move? What the hell happened while I was gone? Did someone hurt them?!" Arthur rambled.

Kurt lowered his head, he sighed and said.

"These past few months have been horrible your highness ... you see, Ruby had gotten very ill. The cause of it was unknown but her illness took over her and ... she left shi world."

Arthur felt like a glass shattered and stabbed him.

"S-she's de-dead?"

"Ruby left this world and passed on, your highness." He nodded. His own face showing pain and sadness.

"... penny- Penny?! What about her?! Where is she?! An orphanage or something?!"

"Your highness. Young Penny stayed by her mother's corpse until both her and Ruby's body disappeared. No one knows what happened to them. One day they were there and the other. Gone."

Arthur fell on his knees.

"Your highness!"

"O-oh my god... ." The young boy breathed out shakily.

Millions of thoughts raced in his mind. Was she kidnapped? Did someone take Ruby's Body and Penny followed them? Did Penny want to make a grave for her?

But out of all that. The searches from the knights and investigations. All they could get was that a man entered the house and left, leaving with Penny and people taking ruby's corpse. Nothing else. From that day forward. Arthur never saw Penny again.

But one day they'll reunite in the future. Wink wink
