Chapter Eighty-Two: give me back my dad

It's like, time is repeating itself.

Mom lying in the hospital bed.

those memories are repeating ... just to taunt me again.

Dad lying on the bed after coughing up blood and collapsing.

Is this my punishment? For being happy? If so then.

Arthur but his lips and his body shook.

Fuck you fate. Fuck you for hurting my sister. Fuck you for EVERYTHING!

Arthur grit his teeth his shoulders shook. Lighting forming in his hands.

I won't let you win. I won't let you take away what's right for me.

Arthur's tears ran down his cheeks, he yelled.

"GIVE ME BACK MY DAD!"

I never thought I'd love the man who was destined to hate me.

I always thought of him as a pawn just to survive so why ... why-

"WHY DOES IT HURT SO MUCH?!"

His mana went out of control and just in time Lucas came in.

Lucas came barging in the room, he immediately made a mana shield for Claude and ran to Arthur. The electric mana was high and bright. However there's no way Lucas could get hurt. But Arthur might hurt himself.

"THAT'S ENOUGH!"

I won't let you ruin yourself for something so silly, my prince.

Running over to Arthur, his hands glowing bright in red. He pulled Arthur's wrist.

So let me help you. Let me heal you. Even if you tell me no. I will do it no matter what.

Arthur and him made eye contact.

Blue jeweled eyes met the red eyes.

I will kill anyone who hurts you and your sisters.

I will protect you until my last breathe.

Lucas pulled Arthur to him and hugged him tightly. Making sure to engulf him in his mana. Soon enough the electric mana disappeared and Arthur's mana was now controlled.

"I promise you, I'll save your dad."

Arthur sniffled and hid his face on Lucas's shoulder. Crying on him. Lucas didn't say anything and simply let him let out all his frustrations. Petting his platinum blonde hair and sighed.

"I swear you're worse than your sisters."

Arthur stepped on Lucas's foot and said.

"Shut up."

Lucas escorted Arthur to his room. Arthur had apologized to Felix and Lily for losing control but they reassured him that they understand why and it was no issue. On their way they were met with-

"Hello, future brother-in-law." Jeremy grinned.

Arthur rolled his eyes.

"Hello to you too, Jeremy."

Lucas glared at the menace.

"I felt a mana release was that you?" He asked. His grin turning into a frown.

"Yeah it was me-"

"I'll take the prince to his room." Lucas said, snapping his fingers and both of them were in Arthur's room.

"You really don't like him, huh?" Arthur sat down on his bed.
