Chapter Eighteen: Adventure's Begin

On the third day, the children visited their fathers to get permission to go horse riding outside.

"Daddy!" Angelina bursted in with the others behind her. Arjen, Arien and Keira were surprised by the sudden outburst to the Emperor. So were the Duke and the Emperor. Claude had no emotion in his face but he did turn to see his youngest approach him.

"What is it?"

"Can we go ride the horses? Pretty please?" Angelina leaned on his knees,making puppy eyes to Claude.

"No." He stated.

"Why?" Arthur demanded.

"We have Felix. Arjen and Arien have their a guardian. The royal gaurds can accompany us and horse riders can help us." Athanasia said. Claude stared at them before sighing.

"Causing such a ruckus this early is very annoying."

"Hehehe." Claude patted Angelina's head before commanding.

"Felix, prepare the finest horses and make sure the stables do their job."

"Yes, your majesty. Follow me." Felix smiled at the children. Angelina had something in her hand and she hid it in behind a pillow next Claude and left.

Claude pulled out what was behind the pillow and it was a butterfly clip which looked poorly made- ahem, handmade. Claude attached it to his robe and looked at his two guests who were staring at him with their eyes widen.

"What?"

"Your majesty seems ... to cherish their highnesses." The Duke said.

"They're my children." Claude said in a 'duh' tone.

"I see... ."

"However I would say the opposite to you." Claude said.

"Pardon?"

"You seem very distant with young Keira. She tries to get your attention but you shrug her off." Claude said in an obvious tone, not caring if it's rude. The Duke didn't answer and simply kept quiet.

"Ahem. Let's continue the topic at hand. The Eckart Family seem to be a good candidate."

"Hmm, we'll keep that in mind."

The three continued their conversations until the doors burst open and Felix ran int and bowed.

"Your majesty! It's the imperial highnesses!"

They all stood up.

"What is it?" Claude demanded.

"Their royal highnesses and guests have gone missing!"

Never in Claude's life has he felt heart shatter. Running out with the guards next to him.

The Duke ran out with full speed. His ears only heard his heart beat drumming.

The Emperor of Yurianna cursed and teleported out.

"SEND A SEARCH PARTY!"

"EVERYONE GO SEARCH THE FOREST!"

"NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO REST UNTIL MY CHILDREN ARE FOUND!"

MEANWHILE...

"You dumb little shit-"

"Language!"

"Who are you? Captain America?! You said that you knew your place around!"

"I did but from the Ruby Palace not from the Emerald Palace, you retard!"

"Look who's talking!"

Arthur and Athanasia argued whilst Arien hugged Keira who was sacred. Angelina and Arjen stood next to each other and facepalmed.

"Well this is fun." Arjen said sarcastically.

"Very. Having a blast." Angela in replied back with the same sarcasm.

"HOW CAN YOU MAKE US LOSE AT LEAST A HUNDRED PEOPLE?!"

"I DON'T KNOW ASK MISS FUTURE EMPRESS WHO WANTED TO SEE A BLOODY ANIMAL!"

"DON'T BLAME THIS ON ME!"

"I WILL SINCE IT WAS YOUR FAULT WE CAME HERE ANYWAY!"

"DAD WILL KILL THE POEPLE WHO WERE LOOKING AFTER US!"

"WELL THEY DID A BAD JOB AT IT!"

"Looks like we'll be stuck here for a while ... wanna explore?"

"Sure."

Hours later the children gathered small antique's and treasures they foun and staked them all up. They created a small fire and sat around it. They told each other stories and had fun until it was completely night and the forest was now ten times scarier.

"You do realize when we get back we'll be grounded for life right?" Arjen said. Arien groaned.

"Oh dude why did you remind me! Dad will ground us so hard gravity will get jealous." Athanasia said.

"We'll never see the day light ever again." Angelina in sighed.

Minutes later they heard a rustle in the bushes and they all ran to each other and had sticks ready as weapons.

"When I tell you the word; Shoe. Run like hell."

"Out of all the words you chose 'shoe', Arthur?"

"Shut up, now's not the time!"

They braced for impact but suddenly a blue dragon and a black dog jumped out of it. A Phoenix fly out from the tree and squawked to Angelina.

"Sky?!"

"Raveeennn!"

"Sunset! Good boy!"

Thankfully the Devine creatures noticed their masters disappearance and found them by tracking their mana. With luck the Devine creatures made trail to go back to the Emerald Palace. They noticed that guards were searching in the forest when they were close.

"Uh oh." Keira said.

"Uh oh? What do you mean 'Uh oh'? Guys? What does he mean by-" Arthur asked but then saw what was happening.

Claude had a murderous aura around him as he looked down at the guards and stealers who were supposed to look after them. The Duke and the Emperor each beside him. Both had the same aura around them. They looked like they were about to kill them.

"Uh oh." They all said.

"Shit, shit, shit!"

"Language, language, language!"

"Shut up! Let's go down quickly before they kill them!"

They ran down the hill and before Claude raised his hand they screamed.

"DADDY STOP!"

"WAIT!"

"DAD!"

"OW!"

"HEY!"

"MOVE OUT OF THE WAAAYYY!"

"AAAHHHH!"

"MOVE YOUR ASS OFF OF ME!"
