Chapter Sixty: Gone

"I sincerely congratulate you on your day of birth, your majesty."

With that Arthur took Athanasia's hand and turned his heel to leave. Claude could see from behind them. The two had tears running down their cheeks. Cale, Zen and Ijekiel bowed but glared at him before running after their friends.

The two princess and prince ran. Their friends behind them yelling out their names. Athanasia tripped and fell. Arthur cursed and hugged Athanasia.

"Princess ... ."

"Prince."

"Art."

Cale and Zen kneeled to them. Ijekile kneeled to Athanasia.

"Please excuse my impropriety." Ijekiel helped her put her heel back on her feet.

"Are you okay-" Ijekiel froze.

Both of them were crying. Zen and Cale had pained faces as they felt sorry for them.

"I am not crying, so please don't ... look at me like that." Athanasia placed her head on Arthur's shoulder and cried. Arthur rubbed her back as his own tears fell down silently. His face blank.

"Yes."

"We didn't see anything."

The three promised. The two cried into each other's arms.

From a very far away. Angelina felt a pain in her chest, her own tears falling.

Claude marched inside his office, angrily taking off his cape, throwing his coat away. Tossing away the heavy clothing. Placing his hands on the desk as he panted. Remembering the cold expressions of the two siblings. Holding his head in his hand.

"Daddy, I made you dis cookie!"

"Dad, look! I did a flip!"

"Daddy, let's have a teary party with my toys, please."

I feel like I've lost something... . Claude thought.

Ijekiel was scolded by his father but said that if he plans anything that could harm the siblings, he won't do it. Zen and Cale would stay at their mansions but would visit as soon as they can.

Days later. Athanasia knew that Roger blocked Ijekiel andJennette from sending any letters to her and Arthur. Hannah and Ces were planning to hit Claude's head with soemthing hard so he could snap out of his amnesia.

Lily pulled the two siblings out, saying they should move around and breathe fresh air. They couldn't just stay inside their rooms forever-

"Watch me."

"Let's just go. Lily is very worried... ."

"Man, when will Angel come? How do you think she would react when she finds out what happened?"

"Possibly try to hit dad with a heavy book."

"Jeez, the sun ... maybe I'm a vampire." Arthur blocked the sun.

"Let's take a walk in the rose garden."

"Okay... ."

Claude couldn't sleep since that day. Felix outside on the floor dozing to sleep. His mind was bizarrely clear. He stood up but almost fell.

Let's get rid of the root of this persistent headache. Claude thought darkly. However inside his mind, there was anther Vito ice yelling at him to not to but- he didn't listen.

Athanasia ripped out the roses from the bushes and made a trail of fallen roses. Arthur massaging. His shoulder again, not paying attention to his sister as she walked off. Not knowing what was about to happen.
