After the long day, they moved Penny and Lidia to a better house but since they had no status it wasn't the kind of house that Arthur and Angelica would like them to have. Arthur promised Penny that he'd visit her before he left and said that they'd see each other after the banquet and visited everyday until they leave. They'll be in the Empire for a month so it's more than enough.
The banquet was filled with people form very high status. What luck that the Paris family had actually joined. Keira, Arthur and Angelica reunited. Arthur and Keira had danced with the other children but Angelica chose to sat down and continue her book.
"Why aren't you joining the others?" Claude asked. Angelica looked up to see her father, dressed all nicely, looking down at her.
"Well, I'm having tons of fun with my book. Besides I'd get anxiety if I dance with someone I don't know."
"I see." Claude looked back.
He couldn't have his daughter all alone here, especially when he saw a few children giggling at her. He sat down next to her and asked.
"What is the book about?"
"It's about twin sisters that are in a family of witches in hiding as a restaurant family business. One night the twin goes missing and is found dead. The family grieves and the other twin sisters wants revenge on whoever killed her sister. As she goes by she finds a boy and... ."
Claud stared at his daughter who explained the story. Now he knows why people say Angelica resembles him too much. Her thinking is his way of thinking. He sighed. No wonder.
Angelica wore a sleeved dress, off her shoulder, flair light lilac dress. Some flowers sewed at the end of her dress and her tiara was a flower crown. Arthur wore a cream colored and light sapphire colors.
"One of our distant relatives will be here tonight." Claude stated. Arthur and Angelica looked at him. They were quite surprised.
I thought us and Jennette were the only ones with imperial blood? Angelica asked. Arthur shrugged.
"Who are they, dad?"
"My uncle, your great uncle, is an Emperor in XXXXX kingdom. His children are my cousins. Another one, my cousin Emperor Lawrence passed away but his children once stayed in our palace before leaving. We'll meet Princess Cayena and Princess Violet." Claude said.
Since we're you know, stunning, I bet they'll be pretty too. Angelica smiled.
