Chapter 10

Giovanni

We pull into the driveway of the house and I put the car into park, we both sit in silence. I turn to her and place my hand on her thigh causing her breath to hitch. I smile loving the effect I have on her, I begin playing with the strings on her ripped jeans. 

"I liked that," she whispers so quietly I almost don't hear it. I smile humming in agreement. 
"Are we going inside?'' she asks so shyly. I sigh knowing that Alex is going to be hoarding her for the rest of the night. 

"Yeah but come see me before bed," I say sternly to which she nods making me smile at her submissiveness. 

I hop out the car then come around opening the door for her, "Did you put a child lock on the door?" she asks giggling

"Of course, I mean I have to be a gentleman," I say smiling at her. We walk hand in hand up the stairs leading to the house before I release her hand allowing her to go find Alex. I head upstairs to my room to change. I slip on some joggers and a white tee before heading into my office. I check my emails and make some calls to Italy and Spain before getting an email notification, the email's from my friend Theodore and it's a file. 

I click print on the file and multiple pages begin printing. I grab them and see the information I'd requested from Theodore after Zeniyahs first night here. It reads Zeniyah May Samuels, Age 21 years old, Birthday: May 26, 1998, Known relatives: None, Known offsprings: None. I furrow my eyebrows at this. I flip the rest of the pages to only find medical records of the last year or so along with her rental agreement and some banking information.

I pick up my phone dialing Theodore, "Yello," he says picking up 

"What the hell is this Theo I asked for a full background search," I say looking over the papers once more

"Bro I don't know who this chick is but it's like she didn't exist before May 2020, I checked everything I checked to see if she could've changed her name, I checked to see if she's from another country, nothing man. Whoever did her work for her is good, you know I can track anyone," he says sounding just as frustrated as I was.

This is a first, Theodore had always been able to dig up information on almost everyone. We'd dug up dirt on some powerful people in the past to use as blackmail. 

"Alright man, I'll see if I can find out more from her myself," I say with determination to know what she's hiding. 

"Who is this girl anyways lei è Bellissima," [she's beautiful] he says 

"Don't worry man, you and Tonio better be doing what I pay you guys to do," I say sternly

"Of course brother," He says. We talk a little more before he hangs up leaving me with my thoughts. 

Who the hell is Zeniyah Samuels if that even is her name, and what is she hiding.

Zeniyah's POV

"Ugh Bella's so stupid she did not need to yell at Charlie like that," Alex says throwing popcorn at the screen. I laugh agreeing with her, I suddenly feel a wave of sadness wash over me as I remember the last time I watched this movie. 

Alex looks over to me and gasps "Omg Zeniyah are you ok? did I say something wrong? Do you not like this movie?" she rushes out panicked. 

"No no I'm sorry this movie just brought back memories, I'm sorry for ruining the mood," I said apologetically.

"I'll be right back," she says running out of the room. She comes back shortly with Sweet Chili Heat Doritos, Maynards and Crush before changing the movie to Grown-Ups and turning up the lights slightly.
