Someone Like You

Chapter 13

Zeniyah

"Mama...mama wake up we're here," I hear Gio say. 

"Where are we?" I ask not opening my eyes. 

"Look baby," he says. My eyes fluttered open and I allow my eyes to adjust to my surrounding. I gasp looking around up in front of me, we'd driven out to a huge empty park, it was far enough from the city that we could see the whole milky way. 

I stood up out of the car and look up at the sky in amazement while my jaw still dropped. I look at Gio to see him looking at me, 

"I knew from the day on the Ferris Wheel you were a sucker for amazing view so I wanted our first date to be based on that," he says while pulling me into his arm. For the second time tonight I pull in down into my arms for a kiss. 

He taps my leg and mumbles "jump." I pull away from the kiss quickly not wanting him to feel my weight, he growls out at me pulling away and I avoid eye contact. We get back in his car leaving the door open and look up at the stars through the glass roof. 

He pulls out our cakes and we begin eating. "Can I taste some of your cake princess?'' he askes smirking at me. I nod but was struggling to put a good piece on the fork. "Use your hand love," he says making me blush. 

I thank god that I washed my hand before we started eating, I break off a piece and hold it up to his lips, he smiles opening him mouth for me to place the cake in. Right as I'm about to pull my hand back he grabs it liking all the icing off my fingers. 

"Mmmmh princess, this tastes amazing" he said while looking at me. 

"Can I taste some too?" I squeak out. He smiles grabbing a piece between his first finger and thumb and brings it to my lips, I slide my tongue out and wrap my lips around his finger, and unconsciously suck. I hear him groan and he looks up at me. I blush and continue eating my cake and he retracts his hands. 

He turns the music up slightly and Swae Lee's voice fills the car soothing me,

We smile both humming along with the song. I haven't felt this peaceful in so long this makes me happy and frightens me so much at the same time. 

Giovanni

I glance over to Zeniyah to find she'd fallen asleep again with her head resting against the seat. I hop out the car taking bout of out containers and throwing them away, I reposition her so that she's still sleeping comfortably but also safe since I was going to sleep home. 

I hope back into the driver's seat and begin heading home, the whole time I'm driving on the highway I glance at her briefly every few seconds, she sleeps so cutely I think to myself smiling. My Zia had been putting pressure on me for years to settle down for the sake of the empire and looking at this woman beside me, I feel like the time has come. 

I pull up into the estate and hop out before walking around to her side and opening her door. I unbuckle her seatbelt and place our phone in her lap, before slipping my arms under her legs and holding her bridal style. I shut the door with my leg and climb up the stairs into the house. The house is completely silent since it's past midnight. I place her down on my bed before running into Alex's room and grabbing, Zeniyah's duffel bag. I come back to my room and shake her awake I hand her the bag telling her she can go into my bathroom to brush and change. 

I walk into the closet changing into a pair of boxers and a t-shirt, I sleep with as few clothes as possible but I don't want my princess uncomfortable if she decides to stay in my room. I walk back into my room to find her changed, her face washed, and a toothbrush in her mouth while she folds her dress away. 

"Can..you get me...my bonnet. It's the sleeping cap...I was wearing yesterday," she says struggling to keep the paste in her mouth making me laugh. She runs back into the bathroom and spits before coming back and saying "It's in Alex's bathroom behind the door, can you get it please?" she askes. 

I nod heading to Alex's bathroom, I knock on the door before peeking in a quickly grabbing it. I turn off all the lights in the hall and walk back into my room. I find Zeniyah knocked out on my bed I smile she's clearly very tired so I decided to just put her head in the hat and pull a blanket over her letting her sleep. I brush my teeth and wash my face before turning off the lights and settling in besing my princess. 

Pretty short chapter but yay they're both getting comfortable
