Someone Like You

Chapter 11

Zeniyah

"Niyah...Niyah...Zeniyahhh!!! Wake uppp," I hear a voice yell above me. I groan loudly rolling over and pulling my blanket over my head. 

"Ok, I guess you don't want to get massages," Alex says making me hop out of bed. 

"Ok, ok I'm up," I say rubbing my eyes and heading to the bathroom. I quickly shower, apply lotion, and put on my bra and panties. 

I walk out the bathroom and look in the duffel bag I brought for an outfit to wear since Alex told me we're going to be in an open mall most of the day, and it's drizzling  I decide to wear something comfy. I grab my tech fleece tracksuit and white airforces then pull my hair back into a low bun.

I head downstairs holding my phone, shoes, wallet, and lipgloss. As I enter the dining room I run into Alessandro who's leaving, he bends down and hugs me tightly. 

"You look beautiful," he says

"Thank you, I haven't seen you much lately, you ok?" I ask. He nods smiling before walking out with Junior in his arms. 

I walk into the kitchen and grab some orange juice and pop 2 slices of bread in the toaster. After I eat I go sit in the front area waiting for Alex to be ready. 

After about 10 minutes I hear Alex coming down while arguing with Giovanni, she's wearing black cargo pants, a white tank top, and a black and white oversized varsity jacket. 

"Gio we're just going to the mall you don't need security god," I hear her say to him

"Ok, but what if someone recognizes you?" he says back harshly. She simply rolls her eyes and continues to walk down the stairs. 

"You ready to go?" she asks me 

"Yupp," I said smiling at her before looking over to Giovanni. He smiles and walks up to me,

"You look, beautiful mama," he says making me blush and smile hard. 

"Thank you," I almost whisper feeling flustered

"Okkkk lets goooo," Alex says

"I hope you didn't forget about our date later, by the way here's my car there's no limit so pay for your massage and spa day with this, and go shopping if you need to," Gio says

"Of course I didn't forget, and absolutely not, I have my own money," I answer 

"I'll take that," Alex says grabbing one of the credit cards. I reluctantly grab one as well knowing I'm not going to be using it. 

"Also here," he says handing me a pair of keys

"What's this?" I ask holding it up

"The keys to the Tesla since your car's back at your place, I saw the way you were eyeing my baby yesterday," he says smiling

"OH MY GOD," I said launching myself into his arms and kissing his cheek. 

I quickly thank him, put on my shoes, and grab Alex's hand before racing out the door to the Tesla. Once we're settled in a start the car and almost moaned at the deep purr of the engine. 

I enter the mall into the GPS and we start heading there. 

"Sooooo you and my brother dating?" she asks, glancing at me. 

"No, I mean we kissed last night and he-" I'm cut off by her squeal.

"Oh, my godddddd, you're his first kiss, you know," I slam my feet on the brake causing her head to slam into the dashboard. Thankfully there're no cars behind us. She glares at me and I apologized sheepishly. 

"How in the hell is that his first kiss?" I asked not believing her 

"Well he's had tons of girlfriends and flings but he never trust any in his room or his house and he definitely doesn't kiss," she says surely. My head clenches when she says he's had a ton of  girlfriends, I'm sure they were all the model type 

"Wow, ok," I say. We pull up to the mall and park before getting out. We walk in heading straight for the spa, we change into the robes and slippers before settling on the massage tables and waiting. After we get our massages and my muscles are completely relaxed I don't even want to get up as I feel way too comfortable. 

We move to the sauna, then take quick showers before we go for mani-pedis, while we're at it I also get a facial and my eyebrows tweezed. Alex gets acrylics, I, unfortunately, couldn't because I have to wear gloves most of the time at work. I bought some custom press ons though. 

When we're finally finished almost 5 hours have passed and it's now about 5 pm. We change into our clothes and walk back out into the mall feeling refreshed after paying. 

"You hungry?" Alex asks pouting. I nod answering of course and she leads us to the food court. I look around at the food options not sure of what I'm craving, in the end, Alex settles for some Cantonese noodles and wings while I go for a 3piece tenders combo from Popeyes. We settle down and begin eating and talking. 

As we're laughing about something a group of 3 slim figures white girls passes by whispering, "ew do you see what she's eating out of all the options?" one asks

"Well look at her what do you expect," the other answers causing the rest to snicker. This causes my stomach to turn and I push the rest of my food away no longer hungry. Alex raises an eyebrow at me and I simply say I'm full before pulling out my phone to occupy myself. I shoot Giovanni a text asking if we're still going on the date and if so what was the attire we should wear. He answers saying I'll look beautiful in whatever. 

"You ready to go?" Alex asks. I smiled nodding before getting a to-go box for my food. 

We go some quick shopping and I buy a long sleeve ankle-length body con burgundy red dress, a pair of gold sandals. I see a black beauty supply and buy a couple of packs of braids before we leave. 

We get home at around 7 pm and I go up to my room deciding to put my hair in jumbo box braids before the date at 9. 

Giovanni

"I'm homeeeeeee," Alex says barging into my office. I glance up at her and smile. 

"Did you enjoy yourself?" I ask. I grab my phone checking my accounts for the recent transactions. I see only one of the cards were used making me shake my head. I need to punish my princess it seems

"Hey, can I talk to you about something?" Alex says seriously before sitting down. I nod answering her

"Can you please make sure Niyah eats tonight? We were eating in the food court and some girls walked by calling her fat or something and she stopped eating," she says sadly. 

I feel anger rising in me, I guess Alex notices because she continues to say

"Please calm down, also can you take your medication before you guys go?" she asks of me. I nod saying thanking her for the information. I do a bit more work after Alex leaves to go help my princess get ready. Thinking about the date I planned my palms get sweaty, I'm not the nervous type but I'm really hoping she'll enjoy this date. My mind starts racing with all the things that could go wrong. I sigh rubbing my facing seeing it's 8:30 and decide to go get ready.
