Chapter Three

"Viee?"

I opened my eyes for a split second.

"Viee can you hear me?"

I started to sit up.

"Yeah I hear ya. Corin your never going to guess what I just dreamed about.."

" It wasn't a dream."

She cut in.

"What? No, no it had to be a dream. It was all just to.. to unreal!"

"Nope not a dream. Your a Cynderclone. Like me."

Corin said to me. No senseativity in her voice at all.

"A what?!"

I shouted. What was she talking about. Why was this happening to me? I felt my breaths grow shorter and quicker. My heart was beating fast.

"I... Think... I'm.... Having... A.. Heart.... Attack..."

I said between my breaths. I didn't see as Corin's hand was coming my way, but I sure felt it.

'Smack!' was all I could hear. I felt my self calming down.

"Thanks."

I said looking down rubbing my cheek.

"No problem. I'd be happy to slap you anytime needed."

Corin said with her million dollar smile. I looked around.

"So where are we?"

I asked realizing that I had no clue.

"Well Violet were not in Oklahoma any more."

She replied laughing.

"Shut up that wasn't even funny. Seriously Corin, where are we?"

"I don't know. You tell me. Your the one who zoned us here."

"What does that mean?"

 I asked kinda offended.

"Lord, Are you really not starting to remember any of this stuff? Is it not coming back to you yet? Or have you just chosen for it not to?"

"I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING RIGHT NOW CORIN AND IT SCARES ME!!"

I shouted at her. Her facial expression changed. She looked serious and scared. She walked over towards me and bent down so we were eye to eye. I saw as her eyes shifted and suddenly her pupils expanded. Her eyes looked as if they where some sort of computer. It freaked me out. I felt my headache starting to come back. Except it wasn't a head ache I felt. It was more like some one or thing was inside of my head. Searching for answers, trying to find something that didn't want to be found. It felt like I was in a trance. Finally she closed her eyes, releasing me. She grabbed me by the arm, jerking me up.

"Come on. We have to get out of here."

"Were you just in my head?"

She didn't answer me.

"Corin!"

I said while jerking my arm away from her. She turned on her heels and grabbed my arm again. This time with a tighter grip.

"Owe! God! Can't you just answer the darn question!?!"

I waited.

"Yes.. I was."

she said finally.

"How do you do that?"

She had grabbed a bag and was searching through it trying to find something.

"Its just something that comes with being a Cynderclone."

She answered unfazed from what she was doing.

"Well what is it that you saw?"

She dropped her hands and let her head fall down wards, obviously annoyed by my questions.

"Nothing."

Now it was my turn to get annoyed.

"What do you mean nothing! You obviously saw some thing other wise there would be no need for the rush!"

Corin turned and faced me.

"No need for the rush!?! We probably have about Ohhh.. I don't know.. 10 minutes, maybe, before this place starts fading, and if we are still in here when it begins to fade then guess what miss diva! We die! You haven't reached your full potential for us to be able to stay in a portal yet. I cant find anything in your head that shows that your even getting a sign of this."

She said then turning back to the bag she continued more to her self.

"That my dear friend is not my fault though. I tried to get you to hang out with more Cynderclone's but noooo! You wanted to hang out with the reg's! Which yeah I could understand. Chelsea and Kat were awesome reg's but nooo that was not enough you had to go out and get you a mist! I tried to warn you many times but you just brushed me off. Well I bet your real happy I saved you from that girl now!"

Corin said as she finally found what it was she was looking for.

"Whats a mist?"

I asked.

"Whats a mist?"

she said mocking me.

"Lord! You really are just stupid aren't you! Mist's are those things that just tried to kill us! Those evil black creatures surrounded by red mist! Come on Violet, I know this is hard to soak in but start putting two and two together now!"

I just stood there. Amy was a mist? How could Amy have been a mist? She was my best friend! I had always liked her secretly more than the other girls. This whole time she had just been acting. Trying to get closer to me, trying to figure out if I knew something. My worst enemy had been my best friend, and my best friend had tried to kill me.

 "Lets go Viee."

Corin said waiting for me on the bike. I walked over and got on.

"Blink your eyes and picture home when you do it."

I nodded my head. Home. Was home still even there? Would they remember what had happened. Would home still feel like home to me? I began to blink and picture home. My eyes filling with tears. I felt my body jerk forward as Corin sped off.
