"I can't believe he's coming back after all these years...isn't that interesting?", she asked as she opened up his message.

"Me neither...", I responded. And then after a thought, I asked, "Hey Mina, promise me we won't fight over him again?"

She nodded. "Of course. It's not like I still have feelings for him or anything"

"It's fine if you do, honestly", I responded, before muttering to myself, "I think I like someone else anyway.

"You guys better not fight over him again. Do you guys understand how much it SUCKS being in the middle?", Yugyeom asked.

"That's true, we're sorry", I responded.

"Sorry to interrupt your guys' excitement, but can someone tell me who the hell you guys are talking about?", Yuta asked, quite confused.

"Same here...wait is it that one guy that you liked Mina?", Jihyo asked.

"Yeah...", Mina answered sheepishly

"Oh right! You haven't met him yet!", I responded to Yuta. "So around when we were seven or eight, there was this boy that Mina and I both thought was cute. Of course, when you're at that age you don't have a complete grasp over love, but we didn't care that we were "too young to have a boyfriend", as our parents put it, and tried everything we could to get him to fall in love with us back."

"So you two competed for his love, basically? How did that go?", he asked in response.

"We were both friends with him before this, and I think he always had this sense that both of us liked him, so he would spend time with both of us to satisfy us both".

"Eventually, these two got greedy and wanted him for themselves, so they got into a fight that lasted for two months that probably wouldn't have ended if he didn't end up moving to the US when we were nine", Yugyeom chimed in.

"Shut up, I was getting to that", I told him. "By the way, what was he messaging you about Mina?"

"He was just saying hi and that he'd be coming back soon. Also he asked if we wanted to go pick him up at the airport tomorrow afternoon".

"Couldn't his parents just drive him?"

"They aren't coming until later, so he asked us to do it."

"Fair enough..."

"Okay so I get that this guy was your guys' childhood crush, but who is this guy?", Yuta questioned. "I need a little more than just "our childhood crush" to understand, you know."

"Someone's jealous", I heard Mina mutter teasingly. I ignored her as I continued explaining. "So his name's Hansol, he's around our age, and he used to live across the street from here." 

"I see...So...do you guys still like him?"

I shook my head. "Not like that, anyways. I still think he's a cool friend though. Anyways, you guys wanna turn in for the night or do you think you're still up for one more game of Monopoly?"

We decided to play one more game, but first I had to check on the hybrids to make sure they were all doing okay. All of them were doing just fine, although Jin had a few questions when I came to him, as expected.

"Wait, now I'm confused Melody...I thought you liked this one guy, then I thought you liked your best friend, and now I'm wondering if you like that new guy, not to mention the one coming back here...So which one do you like?"
