My roommate?

So sorry for the very late chapter! If you haven't seen my explanation in the conversation section, my dumbass forgot to bring a charger for my phone. Hope you enjoy this chapter!

Aether POV:

"Oh Aether, it seems we will be sharing the same dorm this year"

I turned my head to look at the ashy blonde haired boy next to me, standing there with a slight smile on his face. Venti seemed to already have left.

"Oh uh- yeah seems so Albedo"

He smiled once more at me then walked into the living room, setting his bag down on the floor. I turned to look at my other, dark haired roommate.

"Hi Zhongli, you're in this room too?"

The dark haired male looked up from his small book which was tightly held in his right hand.

"Oh, hello Aether. Yes, this is my dorm for this year. The change for dorms was quite sudden"

I nodded in agreement, settling my own bag onto the carpeted floor and slopping down onto the couch. "I'm glad I won't have to deal with my sister's yelling early in the morning"

Zhongli chuckled softly at that. "I've never experienced what it is like to have as sibling, it must be quite a pain judging from your attitude towards Lumine"

I let out a deep sigh. "I think it's just my sister. She's really weird"

We sat in a comfortable silence for a few minutes after that, the silence being ruined after a sudden knock on the door. I rose up to my feet and walked over to the door. Spotting a familiar ginger at the front door.

"Childe? What are you doing here?"

"Aether! Is Zhongli here? That little cat won't even let me into my own door room!"

𝘊𝘢𝘵? I shook my head. Childe did speak non-sense half of the time.

"Yeah, Zhongli's in he-"

Before I could finish my sentence, the tall ginger bolted into our room and was practically bowing in front of Zhongli.

"Please Zhongli! Get that cat under control! He won't even let me into my own dorm!"

Zhongli sat there, staring at Childe who was on his knees in front of him with a calm expression on his face.

"You two should learn to get along"

"He won't even look at me before punching me!"

A cat punching him? Is he crazy?

Zhongli sighed in disappointment then stood up from his chair. "Take me there"

Childe shot his head up and looked at Zhongli like a excited puppy. He got up from his knees then took Zhongli's wrist and guided him out the door. I have to admit, I am a bit curious about this 'cat'. I finally decided to go follow after them, closing the door to my dorm behind me.

𝘟𝘪𝘢𝘰 𝘗𝘖𝘝:

We all made our way out of the school building and to the new dorms. I wasn't thrilled about this decision. All it mean was that I'd be cooped up in the same dorm with two other people for the rest of the year. To top it off, I wouldn't be able to see Ganyu as much anymore.

Once we got to the building, our teacher spoke up.

"This is your dormitory. You'll be sharing with class 1-A. If I hear any bickering between you students, I'll punch you. You each have a ticket to keep that'll take you to your room. Have fun"

Like I'd have any fun in this hellhole of a dorm building.

I walked over to the booths that handed us all our tickets, grabbing mine then entering the building.

The inside of the building was nicely decorated but I didn't care for it. I glanced down at the small ticket in my hand with the sharp black number printed onto it.

I dragged my feet up the stairs of this place and made my way to my assigned dorm, spotting a tall dark haired male at the entrance. It was Zhongli. If I were to share my dorm with someone, I guess it would be him or Aether.

Once I got closer, I noticed a bright haired boy standing next to him. My face immediately growing grim as I slowly recognized his face.

It was that disgusting ginger.

"Why, if it isn't the little dark haired cat" Childe said as he smirked. I was tempted to punch him right there.

"Childe, enough"

"Of course Zhongli!"

Zhongli sighed then turned towards me. "Is this your dorm room, Xiao?"

I nodded, keeping my eyes on him rather than the annoying ginger beside him.

"That might cause a bit of trouble... you and Childe are sharing this room along with someone else."

I stared at him slightly confused. "Aren't you in this room?"

He shook his head. "I'm in room 16"

I turned to glare at Childe. "So, you're saying I'm stuck in a room with this one?"

"Erm, yes. That is correct"

Great. How wonderful.

"Well, I should head to my dorm now. Cooperate you two"

I watched as Zhongli walked off down the long hallway and into his own dorm room.

I let out a small sigh under my breath then stared Childe directly in the eyes. "Listen here. I don't want to see your filthy ass in this dorm room today. Got it?"

"Hold on shorty, this isn't only your roo-"

I slammed the door and locked it before he could finish his sentence. He banged repeatedly on the door a couple times while yelling out my name. I brushed it off and walked into the main place of the large room. It was nice.

There was a small coffee table in the middle of the room with a few pillows set down on the ground. A large TV hung from the wall and a few chairs sat in front of it. Next to one of the chairs, there was a hallway which led to three different bedrooms.

Maybe staying here wouldn't be too bad. That is, if I could keep that ginger out of this room and out of my sight.
