An Endless Day With You

Hello! So sorry for such a late update. My birthday was a couple days ago and I was staying at my aunt's who didn't have any wifi so I couldn't post the chapter 👁.

No one's POV:

As the bell rung to signal the end of classes for the day, Aether stood up from his chair and walked over to the dark haired boy, who had his attention stuck to the clear window beside him, his eyes observing every movement the forest green leaves made as the wind brushed through its thick branches. The blonde lightly tapped his shoulder, Xiao's eyes quickly moving to meet the eyes of the blonde boy's.

Aether smiled, "Ready to go back to the dorms?"

Xiao nodded in response then stood up from his chair as he slung his bag over his shoulder.

As the two were about to step outside the door, the loud stomping of someone's feet could be heard right out the door. I'm not even a second, Lumine stood in front of them, a large scowl on her face when she saw the two of them.

"Venti Venti! I need some back up here, get your ass over here!" The blonde girl said as she spoke quietly (very loudly) into her phone.

"Roger that" Venti quickly said through her speaker then hung up.

"Ahem..." Lumine quickly cleared her throat then glared back at the two boys who stood right in front of her.

"Well-" As soon as Lumine opened her mouth, Aether quickly intertwined his fingers with Xiao's then bolted past his sister.

They raced down the busy halls, gaining many weird stares and looks, but at that moment, the two boys couldn't care less.

The feeling of having their hands intertwined made both their hearts race, but that could've also been because of the hardcore running they were forced to be put through since the angry blonde was chasing after them.

After a couple of minutes, they succeeded to lose her once they entered the school yard. Aether quickly tugged Xiao up the large hill and to the top, where the large cherry blossom tree sat. As their hands slowly drifted apart, they both could not help but want the warmth from the other's fingers back.

They both settled down, their backs laying on the thick, rigged tree trunk as they both sat on opposite edges of the tree. They sat in a comfortable silence as the cherry blossoms fell delicately from the large tree above them, the colour of the sunset marching perfectly with the bright pink from the cherry blossoms.

"Hey Xiao."

"What"

Aether looked back at the dark haired boy then smiled, his eyes glistening even brighter than the sun.

"That was fun, wasn't it?"

Xiao glanced back at the blonde haired boy, a small smile threatening to creep onto his face.

"Yeah..."

"We should do that again sometime"

"Run away from your sister?"

Aether laughed softly. "No no! I mean we should run together again..."

As Xiao fully looked back at Aether, he could see the faint trail of blush on Aether's cheeks as he stared down at the ground in embarrassment. The wind blew again, his golden locks flowing in the wind as more and more cherry blossoms fell around them.
