Padme
Padme stared in shock as Obi-wan, Leia, and a young boy came racing towards them like wild banthas while being chased by dozens of troops in sleek navy armor.
Not clones again... She thought in exhaustion. With tired muscles, Padme pulled out her lightsaber and turned to Mace and Maya. "Looks like holding off a battle is no longer an option..." she remarked wearily. Maya was ready to leap into action as Mace ignited his magenta blade, "Were you expecting a warm welcome?" he asked.
The three if them ran towards the swarm of troops that chased the others until both groups collided into a mixture of chaos. Leia ran straight for her mother.
"Mom!" she cried, stopping in her tracks but then continuing toward her. Padme couldn't help but smile, even though she was preoccupied with attacking clones. "My baby girl!" she gushed, tempted to hug her. Leia pulled out her lightsaber as her face turned a bright pink. "Mom! Not in front of Han..." she complained, turning to see if the young brown haired boy had heard her mother.
Padme chuckled, "So that's the Han I keep hearing about." The boy stood with his feet planted on the ground, and a blaster in his hand. He was dodging and shooting troopers left and right. Padme could see why her daughter had a crush on him. What girl wouldn't want a charming boy who could take down bad guys and still look good while doing it? Padme thought back to the battle of Geonosis when she amd Anakin fought off battle droids together. Where has the time gone?
Meanwhile, more navy clones surrounded the group. Obi-wan, Mace, and Maya stood back to back to back in a cluster as the deflected lasers back at the soldiers. Padme and Leia were teamed together as Han went solo, firing his blaster at anything in his way. When the clones thinned out and finally lay only in piles, Padme retracted her lightsaber and looked down at her daughter. "I was so worried about you Sweetie," she said, pulling her into her arms despite the fact that Han was close by. Leia didn't resist and wrapped her arms around her. "I'm sorry Mom..."
Leia
When Leia had been younger, she remembered running into her parents' room with Luke during thunder storms or getting a kiss on her finger when the training droid zapped her. Out of all those times, she had begun to take her parents' hugs for granted. Just two days of being separated made all of that change.
She hugged her mother close, "I'm sorry Mom..." Her mother bent down to kiss her forehead, "Oh Leia, I know," she whispered soothingly.
Just then, she noticed Han watching nearby. At first, she wondered if he would tease her about hugging her mother, but she was surprised to see a thoughtful look on him instead of his usual smirk. Almost as if he was thinking about his own mother. Leia wondered what had happened to his parents.
She finally let go of her mother. "Mom, this is Han Solo," she announced, smiling at Han. He stepped forward and smiled back, "Nice to meet you Ma'am," he said with in a genial manner. Leia stared at him curiously as he looked back at her with a confusion of his own. "So..." he began awkwardly, "Is everyone in your family a Jedi?"
Leia suddenly remembered that she had never seen her mother with a lightsaber before. "Yeah Mom," she said, turning back to her mother, "Since when are you a Jedi?"
Her mother raised her eyebrows, "Why do my children think it's so wrong for me to have a lightsaber?" she asked with a laugh. Then the laugh stopped. "Leia, where are your brother and father?" she asked slowly.
