Barry Allen/Flash One Shots

Bad Day

Barrys POV
The morning started off great. I got some coffee at jitters, took a walk, and I even arrived to work on time. I got lunch with Patty and we went to the park during our break. We feed the birds some bread and she held my hand as we walked back to the station. Everything was going great until I got a call from Caitlin telling me that there is a very dangerous meta on the loose. I felt super bad leaving Patty but she said everything was fine and that we could grab dinner tonight.

I may have to take a rain check on that date.

"You can't get to me Flash. You're done for." The villain snarls and laughs slightly.

So let me tell you about what's goings on. Once I arrived to the location Caitlin sent me I was greeted with a hard hit to my head. I then around to see a guy standing there. I tried using my speed to get him but a type of force field flew me back.

I couldn't touch him.

How am I supposed to capture a villain I can't get 3ft within?

How am I supposed to weaken him?

I don't know.

"Just hold on a little while longer Barr. Cisco is almost done with a weapon. Are you okay?" Caitlin says through the comm.

For the past 5 minutes I have been smacked, thrown, and cut. Yes, I have speed healing but after my fight with Zoom it's been slow. I just got back to running and my legs need to get back to how they used to.

"I-I'm al-alright." I stutter with some blood dripping from my mouth.

I tried throwing one more lighting bolt but the lighting just bounced off of him and onto me.

"That was stupid." I scold myself as I get up off the ground.

"Give up Flash. You can't hurt me." The man smirks at his last statement.

"I won't l-let you h-hurt anymore innocents!" I yell at him but he just laughs.

"I was trying to get to you silly. They were just in my way." He fires back throwing any other one of his weird blasts at me (not like vibe blasts).

"Cisco's got it and he's on his way. I'll tell you once he gets there so he will throw you the blow up thing." Caitlin tells me.

"Got it."I take my hand off my ear and wait patiently for Cisco to arrive. The mean kept sending blasts me way. I could feel a stinging pain in my leg and I look down to see my suit sliced open and a big cut down my calf.

Only about 15 seconds later Cisco arrived.

"Flash!" He calls out and I speed over to him. He throws me the little ball and tells me that I had 10 seconds before it activates.

I realize that if I throw it on 2 the ball will activate right as it hits the shield.

Perfect.

"You've left me no choice!" I shout before throwing the ball at him. He try's to react but time was not in his favor. The ball exploded and I was sent away being pushed back from all the energy.

"Did it work?" Cisco asks through the comm.

"Oh it worked alright. Help please." I say while still on the floor.

My legs felt numb just like they did last week. Not gain. Not again. Not again. Zoom is still out there and if this stupid meta made me loose my use of legs I'm gonna be pissed.

"We got him Barr." Cisco says and I close my eyes.
