15- hell to pay

In what appeared to be a destroyed office building, two young heroes-in-training were fighting against a small league of villains.

Bakugou was exploding faces off left and right while Kirishima used his hardening quirk to destroy a villain's weapon and chop him down karate style.

Panting, the two boys looked at the unconscious bodies they'd piled up since being dropped into the area by a warp gate. Dusting his hands, the red head spoke up.

"I think that's the last of them," Kirishima huffed, "we should head back, if we're still in the USJ our classmates must be too. They don't all  have our offensive skills," the rock-textured boy looked down in shame, "it's kinda our fault we all got separated, if we hadn't rushed in and let Thirteen use their quirk..."

He heard a dissatisfied snort and looked up to the disgruntled blond.
"Go ahead," Katsuki said, "but I'm going after that warping bastard- he's the villain's only way in and out. Getting him cuts them off from escaping."

While saying this, a villain with a chameleon quirk sneakily made their way toward the heroes, crawling like a reptile while completely invisible. "Hope you enjoyed your chit-chatting!" It muttered before leaping toward blondie.

Already expecting it, Katsuki gripped the villain's head and let off a small yet compact explosion that knocked them out.

"If this is all we have to worry about, I'm pretty sure the rest can handle it. Some small fry thugs ain't getting in my way." Katsuki grunted and pushed the dazed reptile away.

Kirishima pondered, "Since when did you act so calm and rational?" A small bubble featuring a gremlin version of Katsuki appeared in his mind, "Normally you're all like "Die!Die!Die!"" Then a calmer bubble popped up, with the older Bakugou twin in the middle, "And your brother's the calm one saying "Pipe down!" And "Shut up, tiny!""

"I'm always calm and rational you red haired loser- M/n ain't no saint either!!" An enraged Bakugou screamed. Kirishima clicked his fingers; glad his classmate was back to normal. He hardened his fists and brought them together,

"You believing in the rest of our classmates, is pretty manly! Your bro must be out there kicking butt!" His sharp, predatorial teeth clanked together in satisfaction.

Katsuki was unfazed by his pumped up classmate, and was thinking of what he'd mentioned.

M/n... are you fighting right now? Don't be an idiot, we'll do this together.

M/n was indeed fighting and unknowingly being an idiot.

He continued shelling and defending from Shigiraki's punches, getting pushed back into the chest of the behemoth that'd been there the whole time.

The hero's blazing arms were suddenly clamped behind him by two hands, thick as barrels and heavy as oxes, the creature had excitement in its eyes as Shigiraki caught his breath and stumbled toward the young hero.

"You're tough," the man raised his hand, "but maybe this'll teach you a lesson they don't provide in school-"

M/n's red eyes widened as the villain raised his hand, the monster was squeezing his blood vessels and choking the amount of heat he could make in a matter of seconds. His limbs were about to burst.

"- stay down when you're already beat."

The villain's palm collided with the side of M/n's face, he felt a gaping split in his skin.

The blood, hot as lava, steamed in the monster's face. It wheezed while gazing down at the fly it had squashed in its grip.
