Gabriel takes my hand, gently giving it a comforting squeeze as we wait for Dean's signal. There was another death yesterday while Dean was investigating and we rather quickly found the witch. Well... at least we hope we have. But we're going with the evidence we have. We still have no idea what her intentions are, but we are sneaking into her house to kill her. My heart starts to race like it usually does in intense situations. Dean, Gabe and I went to the house and Sam, we figured out, was this witch's preferred type of victim. So, he's back in the motel room. The last four victims had similar features to Sam and we figured it would be best if he just stayed put. Gabriel looks at me "Hey, cutie?". "What?" I question him. He smiles slightly "There's this thing that I've seen humans do. It's really cool, you should try it". I furrow my eyebrows "What on earth-". "It's called breathing, sweetie. And you are currently not doing it properly. Let me see you do it now" He replies. I release a breath I didn't know I was holding. "There you go. Do that a few more times" He mumbles. I roll my eyes "Gabe, we don't have time for this". "Hey, there's always time to breathe. Just do it, sweetheart. Please?" He tells me. I frown before doing as told. I take a few more breaths and he nods "Okay, good".

That's when Dean signals to us. So, Gabe pulls me up with him and we head round the back. I hold my gun with witch killing bullets in it, in front of me as I follow Gabe into the house. He makes sure every room we go into is clear. We see Dean go upstairs, so we go downstairs to the basement. It's too dark to see anything, so I hold on to his jacket sleeve since he can at least see better than I can. He goes to snap his fingers to turn the light on when he can't find the light switch. But nothing happens. "Um... Gabe-" I start. He sighs "The place must be warded. Don't worry, just don't let go of me, okay?". I nod, then pause "Gabe, can you see anything?". He hums "Hm... no". I roll my eyes "Well, what's the point in me not letting go of you, huh?". "Just so I don't lose you" He replies casually. I find the wall and start to run my hand along it until I find a shelf. I squeal and jump back into Gabe when I feel something squishy. "What?" He sighs. I gulp "I... I don't know. But it felt squishy". He hums "Well, that's never good". That's when the light does come on. We both freeze. I grimace at all the witchcraft around us. From the stairs, a tall, white/blonde haired woman appears. She looks to be in her mid fifties. She smirks at us "I could've sworn I smelled an archangel. So... powerful, perfect for what we need. Looks like my sister and I got lucky". I furrow my eyebrows "Sister?". "That's what you're concerned about?" Gabe mumbles under his breath. That's when we hear a loud crash from upstairs. "Oh, don't worry about that. My sister is handling that one just fine" The witch tells us. I take my gun out of my pocket. "Now then, handsome. Where were we?" She practically purrs. I glare at her and before he even has a chance to defend himself, I step in front of him "Don't even think about it, lady. Hands off". She chuckles "Oh, I won't hurt him, dear. At least... not a lot. I just need to borrow some of his Grace". She starts to advance. "Well, that's not gonna happen" I reply, pointing my gun at her.

I could feel Gabriel subtly reach for his angel blade behind me. "So, Gabriel is it? This one here, trying her darnest to protect you. Hypothetically, if I were to harm her, what would you do to me?" She asks. I could feel his whole vessel tense up behind me. "It'd be the last thing you'd ever do" He replies without a hint of hesitance. She grins wickedly "That's great". I furrow my eyebrows, watching as she takes something out of her dress pocket. "Gabe, what is that?" I mumble. She has a piece of string with a locket on it. She doesn't say a word as she crushes it in her hand while murmering words for a spell. I start to panic when Gabriel groans in pain. Just as she finishes speaking, I press the trigger on my gun and the bullet shoots right out and through her stomach. She falls to the ground, lifeless. I turn around to see Gabe on the floor. My eyes widen before basically throwing myself to the ground in front of him. "Gabe... Gabriel! What happened, what did she do?" I ask. He groans again, resting his head on my shoulder and I let him. "Dean!" I yell and he soon comes stumbling down the stairs. He has a few cuts on his face and he looks pretty battered up, but he seems fine for the most part. He glances at the dead body before quickly walking over to us. "What happened?" He asks. Gabe sighs heavily, not moving from his place on my shoulder "M-My Grace, it's... gone. I don't f-feel it in me anymore". I frown "Gabe, what was it she had?". "I... don't know. I think it must've had ingredients for a spell to remove Grace... or something like that. I don't know what she did, but it hurt" He tries to explain. Dean sighs "Okay, let's just go back to the motel room. I'm sure we'll figure it out".

"So, your Grace is just gone?" Sam questions. Gabe shakes his head "No, it... it's still in me, somewhere. It can't be removed unless it's extracted. But if it gets pushed down far enough, I'm basically human". Dean hums "Welcome to the club". He smiles sarcastically "Yeah, thanks". I chuckle, leaning into his side a little.
