When there was a knock on the door, all three dogs barked. Liv chuckled "Come in, Gabe!". She hears the front door open with a click and soon a quiet "oof". She came into the living room from the kitchen. Alfie was lying on the sofa but kept his eyes on the new arrival. Denver was letting out muffled woofs from his corner, his tail was thumping against the wall though. And Fergus was jumping at him. She chuckles "Fergus, leave him alone". When the dog got down, Gabe looked at her and smiled "I'm gonna have to learn to get used to that one of these days". She chuckles "Yeah, but then you wouldn't get a surprise every time you come in". He hums "True. Um, these are for you". He reveals sunflowers from behind his back and gives them to her. "Aw, thank you. You didn't have to though" She replies, blushing a little. He shrugs "It's only customary, isn't it?". She sighs "Well, yeah. I guess". He follows her into the kitchen, watching as she finds a vase to put the flowers in. "How did you know I like sunflowers? I don't recall telling you" She asks after putting them in water. He shrugs, smiling a little "Um… lucky guess?". She chuckles "Alright, let's go".After leaving her apartment building, they start to walk down the street. "So, where are we going?" She asks. He hums "Well, you grew up here. I thought I'd let you choose since you probably know the place better than me". She nods "Makes sense. But it may surprise you that I don't know the best date spots". He raises an eyebrow "Really?". She chuckles, blushing a little "Yeah, I can tell you the best shops and parks. But not the places for a date. I'm not the best person to ask". He smiles and nods "Okay, well… what's your favourite food?". She hums "Italian". "And is there an Italian restaurant here?" He asks. She nods "Yeah". "Then let's go. Which way is it?" He replies. She giggled, pointing in the direction and he started walking that way. He was so close to snapping his fingers and teleporting them. He had to physically stop himself from doing that.
He takes a silent breath, closing his eyes for a moment. He couldn't do that. Not yet. It was the hardest thing he's ever had to do. But he was falling for her and there was nothing he could do about it. And he was pretty sure that she liked him too. He didn't know what to do. He was brought out of his thoughts by Olivia grabbing his arm. "What are you waiting for, Christmas?" She laughs, pointing to the restaurant with her other hand. He smiles softly "No, I'm good. Let's go".
Later
After dinner, Gabe once again let Liv lead him to wherever she wanted to go. And apparently, she wanted to go somewhere that had a sign saying 'No trespassing'. "You sure we're allowed here, sugar?" He asks after seeing that sign. She had climbed through a hole in the wired fence "Yeah, it's fine. I've been here so many times. Don't tell me you're scared". He rolls his eyes, smiling slightly "I'm not scared. I just don't feel like getting thrown in jail tonight". She giggles "We won't get thrown in jail, come on. I've done this a million times and I've never been caught". He gives her a look as he climbs through after her "Careful, sweetheart. Don't jinx yourself now". She grins "Come on". He chuckles "Lead the way, cutie". Her cheeks turned a nice shade of pink at the new nickname as she turned to weave her way through the thicket of bushes. Gabe followed her, knowing he wouldn't get hurt by mere thorn and bush scratches. He was more watching her, making sure she didn't hurt herself. Doesn't matter how many times she says she's done this, there was always the chance of her hurting herself.
When they got through the bushes successfully, Gabe followed her through an old, wooden door that said 'No entry'. It was pitch dark inside, but there was a blueish light up ahead. He chuckles "You aren't planning on me being someone's dinner, are you?". She giggles "Maybe". He gasps dramatically, making her laugh. They go up a set of steps, then Liv opens a curtain revealing a huge auditorium. Gabe's eyes widened. He was not expecting this. "Liv, what is this?" He asks. She shrugs "An auditorium". He rolls his eyes playfully "Yeah, what are we doing in an auditorium? An empty one, at that". She smiles "Well, actually it was a planetarium. But it got closed down when I was a kid. Now, it's kinda like a…". He looks at her, waiting for her to finish her sentence. "Well, sometimes I come here just to clear my head, you know?" She sighs. He nods, admiring the view from the stage. The whole room was dark and there were about a thousand seats in the audience. The lights above them were the blue lights he had noticed earlier. And it gave the room a calming, dark blue glow. He could see why she came here. She sat on the stage and now he was admiring her. He soon sat down next to her and leaned back on his hands. He was still looking at her though. He couldn't help it. He let his eyes wander and that's when he saw a red substance on her hand.
